Hey Mat, you're getting me hooked on watching all your videos again !! I just wish I could play like that. Great guitar play and a brilliant rendition of an old classic.
Cheers JB. I've had a sudden flurry of covers recently - Don't Laugh, Granadland and one of my personal faves, Unfaithful (featuring the lovely Susanne on lead guitar). Been busy with the band of late, rehearsing and recording but have enjoyed coming back to YouTube...We are playing the Dublin Castle in Camden in July...
Hi. Cheers for your very kind words. To answer your question, I haven't done Carolyn as I can't get it sounding even half decent due to the layers of guitars on the song. Love the song though and would really like to do it. Would probably need some kind of four track to put down the seperate guitars down and that kind of moves away from what I am trying to do here - stripped down versions. Some work, some work well and some just do not (e.g. Dalliance, Bewitched) Cheers again!
en 89 c'était THE groupe à écouter pour les gens cools, je dois admettre que j'ai été déçu quand je les ai vus à Newport en 90 : une heure de concert et retour vers le severn bridge et la rhondda valley, sorry for the french language but i'm getting lazy these days
This is a combination of wanting to re-record "Brassneck" as I feel I can do it more justice with a year and a half of youtube performing under my belt, and my usual messing around with intros from other songs..In this case "Don't Talk Just Kiss" (not the Right Said Fred Version either...Pah!)
"But I wrote it in a bad mood I'm not being funny with you But it's hard to be engaging When the things you love keep changing" Rock on........ Your channel opens a revitalising dimension into my attempts at acoustically mimicking pure genius ... Great stuff! Only wish you'd include the chords and, of course, Octopussy .. Subscribed and hooked, Matt B
Hi and thanks for the comment. Great lyrics eh? Octopussy would be a great one to do - absolutely love that song, however, would be a hard one on an acoustic guitar and not sure it would work too well. Any chords you want, let me know and I can send them. Cheers!
Brill. Thanks. What a great song. Been trying to learn it for ages: will watch your chords and keep trying. Will never be able to sing it like you and Gedge though...Put more mid period Weddoes up there pleeeese. Cheers.
Great version (as always)!

one of the first bands I saw live, at portsmouth guildhall I think, had an underage drink at the bar with Gedge ;)
inspired me to learn a few weddo covers ;)
not sure which of your versions I liked best

Many many great memories of Weddoes gigs - and many to look forward to also...

Well as always I really enjoyed this but I'm confused. Is this a melange of two songs? Not being a weddoes expert and all you know ...
