@IngoS11 I agree (should've tested size for each brand in the store before making the purchase if possible, but some of these models are not regularly offered in the right hand option at the store). These are all large size and I am a medium to medium-large for most brands. For the FJ All Weather I would wear a large and it would shrink after a while. Definately have bought some better fitting gloves since. Thanks for the comment
@superscootkid Taylor Made is coming out with a whole new line, I might compare the new ones to the regular best, but there are many videos out there comparing golf balls already. thanks for the idea
@PingGolfer59 The table at the end gave the final score for each glove. I definately like them in that order (Titleist Player's Glove, FJ Sciflex, FJ StaSof) These 3 are what I will be using in 2012.
The stasof is the same thing as the players just with a different logo. I have a stasof glove that I've played 8-10 rounds with and using on the range and it's still not soft anymore but still usable on the range, I got a players glove once and it got all stretched out and stuff and th leather got all stretched out and not soft anymore after like 3 rounds...
@PingGolfer59 I noticed the players glove had a thinner leather when comparing to the Stasof, interesting to hear about your durability issues with the players
Most of the gloves look a little too big. I use large gloves for work but I play a medium glove with standard finger length. It's got to be too tight all over when I first try it on or I know it will be loose after two rounds. I like the glove to be fairly snug all over.
What are your thoughts on how a glove should fit after 1 round of golf?
@bogushavis Good point. Different brands large or medium is a different size as well. I believe in a fairly tight fit at the store with the glove not to buckle all the way. My hand will tend to swell after range work and the gloves all tended to be tighter at that point. In the video the gloves all had a chance to stretch out at the range and seemed loose. Snug all around while playing is what I look for.
I think the HIRZL glove is the best glove I have ever worn. I have tried most of the gloves on your test list except for the MG glove and HIRZL outlasted and had way more grip than any other glove I have worn. Sizing tends to be on the larger side, so I went one size smaller and found that really made a difference. In the rain, this glove is truly amazing. I will never need a rain glove again.
@gmsheppard I definately would need 1-2 sizes down to fit my hand correctly. The glove definately seems to perform well in harsh conditions and if it stands the test of time it might be the go to glove in my bag if the durability is what you say it is.
I have been playing with the titleist players glove for a long time and i like it a lot better than all the other brands but footjoy and callway are running close behind
I totally agree about the StaSof. It feels amazing but it really does not last very long. One thing I do to help that is I keep the plastic case it comes in and after every round I put it back in the case. I think it makes it not dry out as fast. That is when it cracks. I see it last alot longer when I do that. Just a suggestion because they are great feeling gloves.
@FowlerFan1986 Usually I try to keep the glove off my hand as much as I can during a round to keep it as dry as possible, but I like your point about (insulating the glove between rounds).
My favorite glove is the footnote puretouch limited. My course usually doesn't have any but when they do I always get them. Its almost identical to the Titleist players except the Velcro clasp is more comfortable IMO that the square shape on the Titleist glove. I do agree with durability tho my stasofs last 5 rounds at best.
try mizuno. softest ever man. the skin tite gloves...

How about testing gloves that actually fit your hand. Man these are way too large for you.
