  • I wasn't born a jew, so I gotta believe in God some way or another. I'm a christian, I don't care if Jesus isn't real or if he's messiah, I just believe he is for the heck of it. People can believe what they want to and it shouldn't be people's job to tell them otherwise.

  • Ramban is my hero! he was so brave to stand up for our beliefs in a time when it could have gotten him killed!

  • Wonderful job. Thanks for uploading this video.

  • Outstanding! Thanks for doing this.

  • People saw Jesus rise from the dead like they saw Elvis after his funeral!!

  • So if I'm not a jew because I wasn't born a jew then how do I become a jew? Is it Free For All like the other two desert dogmas?

  • remember ---- Christianity started out as a small sect of the Jewish faith

it was when man came in and adapted it to his needs that it changed --- it would be intersting to go back and see what would have happened if we hd not made the split with the Jewish faith

  • What this video fails to provide is any reason to accept ANY religion? What gives any of them any more credibility than the other?

  • @MeatballsMarlowe Click on my username "simpletoremember" and watch the video "Rational Approach To The Divine Origin of Judaism".

  • @sofia78221 Though there are quite a few 'Jews for Jesus' followers who claim to be Jewish because they claim to observe Jewish traditions and law as prescribed in the Torah. Though they take no part in the Jewish community - the very same that keeps the Torah and observes the Religion of Judaism, nor do some of them have any semitic ancestry. It is not possible to observe the Judaic tradition and law while following Paulianity..err rather Christianity. Pun intended.

  • I AM A MUSLIM...AND I APPROVE OF THIS MESSAGE.

  • I have seen bullets stopped in Jesus name. I have see demons cast out in Jesus name. I have see people on their death bed in the hospital and were spared in Jesus name. The name of Jesus... There IS something about that names.

  • @Icanseeu123able You've seen bullets stopped in Jesus's name? Pls....wake up from your little fantasy story

  • @Icanseeu123able yeh and bullet proof vests and medicine....?????

  • @Icanseeu123able

"I have seen bullets stopped in Jesus name"

    Really?

Do you have any evidence for that?

If not, why should It treat that statement any differently than someone saying "I saw Elvis in the parking lot"?

  • @Icanseeu123able You've actually seen bullets halt mid-flight like in the Matrix? You've actually seen a demon banished with your own eyes like in Constantine? Are you Keanu Reeves?

  • @Icanseeu123able

Its funny how G-d supposedly decided (in the view of both christianity and Islam) that he wanted to "change the rules" and change the bible, and so he told 1 person in a dream or something (In mohammeds case, a flying donkey up to heaven) of the NEW path, instead of telling 3 million people, like he did at mount sanai...Then u expect G-d 2 punish Jews for not believing that he changed the "right path"??

    Yes, sounds very logical.

I'm sorry if im making fun. Just be good person.

  • @Icanseeu123able you saw all that ...... wow

  • @Icanseeu123able I have seen bullets stopped in Jesus name. I have see demons cast out in Jesus name. I have see people on their death bed in the hospital and were spared in Jesus name. "

You're either very gullible or were on something

  • @Icanseeu123able When? Prove it please :) I mean the bullets and demons at least.

  • @Icanseeu123able

And I ve seen entire civilizations destroyed and demonized and entire races of people enslaved in Jesus name.

So it looks pretty even to me.

  • @Icanseeu123able I'm sure lol I'm sure

  • what's a jew btw?

  • @SwEXbE Visit simpletorememberDOTcom for the answer.

  • This video alludes to an important point in that Christianity is that is not really monotheistic. For example, in 2003 I was singing the Terry Macalmon song “Blessings and Honor Glory and power riches and wisdom and strength be unto you unto you Who sits at the right hand of God.” I just knew it was wrong, and in 2006 I finished my conversion to Judaism. There is no reason to believe that Jesus was the Messiah, and many reasons to believe he was not.

  • "why don't jews believe in jesus?" because jews have actually read the bible

  • @moddie84 This is by far the best anwer

  • @moddie84

    lol....true

  • Nice job.

  • Wasn't Jesus a Jew?

  • @simpletoremember

It is questionable whether Jesus existed in the first place, and the alleged fact that he was a Jew may be one more Christian myth. Google "Did Jesus Exist?" for an in-depth presentation as to why a historical Jesus may have never existed!

  • @Twittersuck288 That settles this issue!

  • The Torah is very clear on what the characteristics of the Messiagh will be. For example, he will be born of a common man and woman.

  • @friedie1jeff Where does it say that

  • @MrBingie Where does the Jewish concept of Messiah come from? One of the central themes of Biblical prophecy is the promise of a future age of perfection characterized by universal peace and recognition of God. (Isaiah 2:1-4; Zephaniah 3:9; Hosea 2:20-22; Amos 9:13-15; Isaiah 32:15-18, 60:15-18; Micah 4:1-4; Zechariah 8:23, 14:9; Jeremiah 31:33-34)

  • @MrBingie Many of these prophetic passages speak of a descendant of King David who will rule Israel during the age of perfection. (Isaiah 11:1-9; Jeremiah 23:5-6, 30:7-10, 33:14-16; Ezekiel 34:11-31, 37:21-28; Hosea 3:4-5)

  • @MrBingie What is the Messiah supposed to accomplish? The Bible says that he will:

    A. Build the Third Temple (Ezekiel 37:26-28).

    B. Gather all Jews back to the Land of Israel (Isaiah 43:5-6).

    C. Usher in an era of world peace, and end all hatred, oppression, suffering and disease. As it says: "Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall man learn war anymore." (Isaiah 2:4)

  • @simpletoremember J did none of these. He is NOT the messiah but nothing will change the minds of xtians who claim they know Torah better than we do. Sad but true.

  • @MrBingie

    D. Spread universal knowledge of the God of Israel, which will unite humanity as one. As it says: "God will be King over all the world—on that day, God will be One and His Name will be One" (Zechariah 14:9).

The historical fact is that Jesus fulfilled none of these messianic prophecies.

  • most interesting :)

  • @warrioroneultimate7

I don't understand Christianity how can God be his own Son and Father and then come down to Earth Pray to Himself and teach people about himself in 3rd person. Sacrafice to Himself and ressurect and joins back with himself. WHAT THE HECK?!?!?!?!

  • @PizzaBlade17 that's why "trinity" became a good inscrutable excuse.~LOL~~

  • I love the Christian argument that Christian ignorance is superior to Jewish scholarship.

Or, "I may not know anything, I may not have read the Bible, but I know Jesus!" That's another good one.

It always amazes me when a street evangelist tries to persuade me with a tract that would be more appropriate for a pre-schooler. Aren't the Christians embarrassed by their own ignorance?

  • I am thinking about converting to Judaism. I have been raised Protestant, and always thought that the whole story of Jesus' journey was a bit iffey, with holes, and problems. I have come to reject that belief, because after a lot of research, I think Jesus came to earth simply to spread the good news of God to people who had lost their sense of religion. He was no divine figure, and didnt wish to be seen that way. His intent was twisted and misunderstood by the ppl of his time.

  • so..if christianity is the continuation of judaism, and islam is the continuation of christianity, and christianity and islam both believe in jesus, why doesnt Judaism?

  • @ArnorvTheMilky Who said islam is "the continuation of Christianity" ??? That is hog wash.

  • @ArnorvTheMilky they are absolutely not, they are just monotheistic.

  • @ArnorvTheMilky Google "why don't Jews believe in Jesus" and you will get your answer.

  • @hotlittleenago Jews are not saying he was any less of a man, and not a great on at that, but that he is not Devine. Saying someone is devine just because they did good things is like saying gorge Washington is a Devine person because he did great things.

  • @antonioosarg WTF are you crazy. The romans killed him

  • If the issue was not JESUS HIMSELF, then why did you imprison him and had him killed.

Hitler was right...you are a problem.

  • @ANTONIOOSSARG the romans took jesus and killed him not jews.

there's no point of talking to you if youre saying that hitler was right cuz it means that you are a nutter and sick.. i suggest you to go to any muslim country and to shout jesus is god then you will not only meet jesus but also crusified like him (or maybe just stoned)

  • well this wasn't much of a debate video, they should of use verses from scriptures of judism and cristianity to tell us why they don't beleive in jesus, sayin it's hard to beleive ain't really good enough

  • I am one of Jehovah Wittnesses and we believe in that God is Jehovah and Jesus is a angel who came to Earth because Jehovah send him. On the Earth was Jesus a man but a perfect man. He never made a mistake.

If you want to know more about my religion then you are free to ask me:)

    Sorry for my bad Englsih.

  • @hotlio

because the calenders we lived by are pagan

    and worshipping jesus is paganism

  • I'm not even convinced that Jesus was a man. I'm not convinced he even existed, because the only contemporary sources to say anything about him are either believers or people reporting on what believers believe. There are on official records of any kind, no people writing at the time about the ridiculous things he's claiming, no external evidence of Jesus' encounter with Pilot or of the Slaughter of the Innocents with Herod. It bares all the hallmarks of an Urban Legend.

  • @Atheistx82 True. Its not only jews who reject christianity, its everyone whos not christian! As you said, no evidence of him, at least not his divinity.

  • Brilliant video!

  • After the debate Ramban, was exiled for wining his case. But he left a rich man.

  • In a sacred othodox christian site in Bulgaria there are stones with the symbol of the cross amazingly appearing on them and it is clear that this they were not man made because I went there and checked them myself. Being Jewish this disturbs my peace of mind ? could othodox christianity be the only true religion of God.

  • @Mayer200 Just curious...What made you think a cross carved in stone was not man made?

Seriously, what is the dif between a man made cross in stone vesus a non man made cross in stone? Did a "woman" carve them into the stone?

I think folks need to come back to reality!

  • @Mayer200

Jesus was not nailed to the cross. The cross did not become a part of christian iconagraphy until the Roman Emporer Constantine adapted his paean believes to fit the Christians religion. This is also why Christians celebrate Christmas by lighting trees. It just another thing Christians stole from the pagans.

  • @JediKnight1948 true, true

  • @JediKnight1948 they used this to help convert the pagans. it helped the transition.

  • @JediKnight1948 There is a smart one in this bunch. Congrats lol

  • So what is the view of Jesus between the orthodox, and reformed jews? Is there any set one?

  • the view of all branches of judaism is simply that he is the god another religion worships.

  • A Jew by definition rejects Jesus as Messiah and/or God. "Jews for Jesus" is an oxymoron.

  • @simpletoremember

With all the respect to all jews, I have only one thing to point out.

If this man called Jesus is not the one sent by God to save all people, why most of all the countries all over the world keep counting the years since his birth???? So, if we asked to a young jew, wouldn´t the answer be 2010???

  • @hotlio The Jewish calendar doesn't

  • @hotlio i would say its 5770

  • @hotlio Hmm its a cultral thing, The chinese calander dosen't ( which explains why chinese new year ) you just happen to be born in a western culture. And besides Jesus was probably born in 4BC anyway.

  • @hotlio No, if you asked a Jew the year it would be 5770, i.e. since Creation.

  • @hotlio I think its because of the western worlds influence on the world, and because of christianity's influence of the western worlds. The Muslims know what year it is as we do, but I am sure they dont believe in Jesus as the saviour of all people.

  • @hotlio so thatst your best argument?

  • @hotlio No! if you asked a young jew, it would be 5770. Those who count 2010 believe in christ, which is ok but not necessarily true or right.
