Idiot, it was a cooperative effort, and France has the best army in Europe, and Fourth most Powerful, the list (Top 5) goes like this- USA, Russia, China, France, India.
And France has one of the most advanced militaries, ever heard of the FELIX body amor system? Plus, all those great Eurocopters are mainly French, Eurocopter, is based in France for christ's sake!

France deploys more troops all over the world than Germany, and you sold easily the Leopard thanks to the American help. Even to sell the EF to Saudi Arabia you needed the help of the americans, and I have the letter.

Well Germany was basically the first country which used helicopters for the military, but of course they weren't really attack helicopters, the Fa 223 Drache was armed with one machine gun and two 551 lbs bombs.

They had lost most of their men in ww1, and the little they had were captured or killed at dunkirk or the French German front when the Nazis went past them. Not to mention the french resistance that helped the allies a great deal.

& I know perfectly that, I was several times in the 90's in the French Military Base in the south of France (near the city of 'Marseille') where the 1st prototype of this chopper was tested during several years before its operational startup always in cooperation between these 2 great European countries & European military power
