  • I will give you my wife for that

  • Oh wow. Thats like my dream night light right there!!

  • TAKE ALL MAH MONEH I WANT IT

  • I also have the Bandai kit. For what it is, its a great kit! Yours on the otherhand....amazing!

  • @bsgtrekfan88 Thank you very much!! =/\=

  • I nick name this ship flash light face. not bad at all!

  • How and where the fuck do they get all this crap from?! (on a good way) o.O

  • i wish u turned off al the lights in ur room so we can see how it lights up in the dark.

  • deflector dish green ???

  • Damn cool bro ..

  • like it

  • Very, very cool.

  • Ingenious, the dimmer on the nacelles! ++++

  • that is 'the sex'!

  • 0:48

^look at that JJ-style lens flare!

  • This is so freakin' AWESOME! How long did it take you to build this?

  • gr8 work

  • @OREOMUFFIN100 Lol! Sorry, but it's not for sale.

  • @erik814u2 1 MEEEEEELION DOLLARS!!!

  • I want that NOW!

  • Can you make me one and if so how much?

  • Can anyone help me in lighting the 1/1400 AMT Enterprise-E model??

  • @BaileyZKerr I know the feeling. Mine is still in the box awaiting construction--lol. If I

had the lights for it would be good to go.

  • Hey Eric quick question. What did you use for lights on the warp engines? Like a series of leds or one florescent bulb

  • respect, men, I have the same model, but without lights this is realy nice

  • Very nice especially the warp part ! the only thing kinda strange is that the Deflector is too bright

  • bleeding nice

  • I made mine light up as yours did but I felt it needed to be independent of a display stand. Maybe that was an error, I pulled most of my hair out fitting all of it into the ship, but it does look cool. I agree with the one dude; the deflector dish should be renamed the "oh GOD MY EYES dish";kidding. Too bright, but hats off to the insane detail you gave the model.

  • Very Cool.

  • That is so cool, I want one.

  • Not enough grabby hands in the Alpha Quadrant...

  • That's really cool, esp. with how the warp nacelles light up :P

  • @Gorvose Thanks for watching!

  • whats the bigest model i can get

  • Wow the green looks very Romulan, but is coooooooollll!!!

  • Can I have it???

  • Great job on the kit! FOR EVERYONE ELSE POSTING ABOUT THE "INACCURATE" GREEN DEFLECTOR DISH PLEASE READ!!! Ok, so if you took the actual studio models and shot them with crappy cameras and amateur lighting, they would look just as bad, with disproportionately bright lights and "wrong" color casts. Lighting models is an incredibly complex art that looks "easy" in the final shot. As a commercial dp, it breaks my heart to see beautiful kits lit poorly. Still, I geek out over a great build :)

  • <3

  • AWESOME!! So, how much ya want for it??

  • nice work!!!! where can i find the mondels of star trek in greece?

  • Beautiful!

    I have Banbai kit "NX-01".

I think about changing to LEDs.

How many use LEDs for your "NCC-1701-E"?

  • @ImaginaryDock Not quite sure how many are in there, but there are quite a few.

  • AMAZING

  • That is AWESOME! I love the light on the nacelle, the only problem is the light on the deflector dish.

  • Nice model. I am curious, I just bought a built up Bandai Voyager modell offf eBay and the stand is identicle to yours. Mine also has the same knobs and switches for dimming the lights and warp nacelles. Did you build the Voyager as well?

  • @FoxB100 just some general info for ya..........yes the enterprise E was later featured as the U.SS. Voyager with Capt Janeway at the helm in the tv series voyager it is the same ship basically with a different name don't Ask me why they just chose to do that I guess

  • @DaveStarr4 not sure if trolling... or just very very stupid.

  • I am so jealous!!

  • What company is it bandai

  • wow

  • this is cool!

  • You put quite a bit of work into this. Great job!

  • This looks Amazing . I've been looking all over the net for the option to buy models (not toys) of the Starships . Can anyone suggests a website please?? I bought the 2009 enterprise A but it's more of a toy! Any help would be great!!! Again amazing Enterprise E .

  • hey dude, that looks AWSOME! is this the 1:1400 scale amt model? do you know if a light kit be gotten for this?

  • @00Eugene00 This is a Bandai kit. Not sure of the scale size, but it measures 1.5 Feet in length. As far as I know, there is no light kit available for it. Thanks for watching!!

  • @erik814u2 cheers for the insight!! i'll just have to remain in envy of u! :P

  • you got a borg sun in the deflector dish

  • Excellent work my friend, from one builder to another, your attention to detail was incredible, and the stand is beautifully crafted in a manner fit for the Captains ready room. I actually like the green deflector array. Has a Borg look to it. I am currently working on a Mirror Mirror Imperial 1701 E, the colors have been modified to a dark graphite hull color, with black red and gold accents. Ive used a micron airbrush to immitate the dagger through the earth, as the alternate S.F. emblem.

  • did you paint it your self cause it looks terrific

  • awesome man lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol :D

  • awesome man :D

  • Not bad, but the deflector dish is way to bright.

  • @Sunburn2007 @Sunburn2007 The dish is not as bright in person. That is just the way the camera projects it.

  • @erik814u2 Wow it seems like the deflector dish is Borg Designed

  • @Sunburn2007 The ship is obviously emitting an inverse tachyon pulse to scan beyond the subspace barrier.

  • @CharlesP2009 Why would you use the deflector dish for that? You can boost the sensor array to do that without having to route power through the deflector.

  • @Sunburn2007 Obviously in this instance normal sensors weren't sufficient to get useful readings. Perhaps they are dealing with some sort of subspace or temporal anomaly!

  • @CharlesP2009 A quantum filament.

  • @Sunburn2007 Certainly wouldn't want to run into one of those!

  • Beautiful!!!

  • very cool

  • Are the lights using the fibre optic cable? I'm interested because i have a 1988 Enterprise D on the way

  • @Scinlao I don't think the guy who did this one is around anymore. Sorry!

  • Sweet

  • Cool Ship! USS Sovereign

  • I want one.. Nice job Dude..

  • Looks awesome

  • wow bro very cool! mind making one for me?

  • how did you go about making the light shine through all the windows like that? especially without any light bleedthrough, did you just use thick paint on everything but the windows, did you cut the windows out? im trying to make one of these but im not sure how to proceed on the windows

  • what the hell are you guys on about....why is the deflector dish green!?? It's green in the movies! well...yellowy green...

  • @viceman1982 Lol! I know. It seems that that is what everyone picks on about this model.

  • @erik814u2 ITS A ROMULAN CLONE STAR SHIP PRETTY COOL

  • Very cool! One question though: Why is the deflector green? I don't remember it being green in the movies.

  • @njdss4 It isn't really green. For some reason, the camera picks it up as a bright green because of how bright it is. It actually is a light yellow LED.

  • @erik814u2 you could just say it's been partially assimilated by the borg.

  • @njdss4 it was blue!

  • Enterprise D Was biger

  • @superthundereagle Umm...I think that's a given. But thank you for your time to comment.

  • @superthundereagle

I wish when i see things like this they would say what they did

  • @superthundereagle Well, being that I didn't build it (as I've mentioned many times before) it's hard to say EXACTLY what the builder did to it. But, it seems pretty clear (as I've ALSO mentioned before) that all the builder did was take the Bandai model that already comes with lights and changed the stock lights to brighter LEDS. Thank you!

  • how did you hide the wires for the nacelle lighting? have just got my model but they pylons are so thin. there is a solution for the same problem with he enterprise D but not sure about this one.

  • why a green deflector?

  • soooooooo COOOOOL MAN!!!!!!!!:O

  • is that a BANDAI kit?

  • Awesome looking model, great job. Though I think someone needs to report to deflector control, because that dish looks like it's about to take over the universe.

  • OMG!! its PERFECT!

  • @AndventureWill Lol. Thank you!

  • the base under your ship is that a custom built base?

were do u get something like that ?

  • @kairus1 Yes, the base is custom built to handle the extra electronics and dimmer for the engines.

  • @erik814u2 So this is a one of a kind built bu you?

  • @CrimesonWitcher No, this was not built by me but rather by a professional model builder in England. I dabble in models. I prefer to build the props.

  • The green deflector makes it look like its the assimilated version

  • Very cool ship....I'm jealous.

  • i have my big star trek collection on you tube also

it's under THE MOST TOYS PART 2 by GARY42353

look it up , i miss star trek

i wish they make a new series

  • @GARY42353 Nice collection! Do you have any props like my tricorders and PADD??

  • @GARY42353 Can I get a look at your Data? OH WAIT.

  • that's a hard model to build

  • pimp out bandai star trek kit nice...

  • O_O

  • Whoa! They should have put a resister on that LED that lights up the deflector...looks like a flashlight.

  • Comment removed

  • GREAT, NICE ONE, one question can you buy kits to make the models with the lights?

  • beautiful yo!!!

  • @stads24 LOL! Thank you!!

  • Really great looking piece. are you up for discussions on how you lit it all up?

  • @heatray1 It wasn't lit up by me, so I'm not too sure. I have built one with the regular bulbs. So, I can tell you that all that was done is replace the regular bulbs with LED bulbs and then change the power source, as well, to handle the new power consumption.

  • Looks great, but every single window being lit up looks a bit odd. If you could deactivate or block off like half of them at random it would look even better.

  • This model is freaking amazing... BUT... the green deflector dish kinda ruined it for me. I'm sorry but for one it's not green and two it's not that bright.

  • @xXCSTINGXx If you read the other comments, you'll see where others say the same thing. But, as mentioned, the deflector is not as bright or green as it comes out on camera. I've tried different settings, but it still comes out really bright and really green on camera. When looking at it in person, it is a mix of yellow and green and is nowhere near as bright as it appears on camera. Thank you for watching!

  • How much you want for it?

  • @LegoFreakPictures It's not for sale. Sorry!

  • very nice, although in the vid the deflector dish light looks distinctly green, and overly bright... is that just a side effect of filming it?

  • @ryanspooner092 Yeah...that's just the way it comes out on the camera. It's not as bright as it looks in the video. Thanks for watching!

  • i say 8D heheh this is one epic lookin model u have there :D n the best part is were u can light up the nacells n then turn them off XD luve it ^_^ awsome model 10/10 for the whole thing

  • @FLAME4564 Thank you very much!

  • Nice model

  • @mccaning Thank you very much!

  • Great Ship,

Too bad it did Not come with Blinking Navagational (Nav) Lights, That would have made it look Awsome! Just like the 1701-E in all of the movies.

I have a Friend that has the 4 foot long light up 1701-E

    Check out his Video; kertratzs

  • IF I WAS IN THAT SHIP i wouldn't want to be sleeping next to the reflector dish... lights are so bright it would shine into my quarters.

  • That thing is FUCKIN' SICK!!!!!!

  • cant wait till we really have these in space....

  • Great Job. This is my favorite ship.

  • where can i buy this?

  • Thanks for the information! Is there a website I can buy it from?

  • @cheechyayo3 Check your messages.

  • where can i go to get one of these? this is my fav Star Trek ship.

  • @cheechyayo3 This is a Bandai model that has been re-fitted with LED lights. The original one comes with regular hologen bulbs, which are not as bright. They do take a long time to build. However, there is a guy who does all of the Bandai models with LED lights. His prices vary between $300.00 up to $600.00, I believe.

  • where do i get models like this?

i mean exactly this!!!! and of course all of the other enterprises too.

    PLEASE TELL ME.

  • @gallai1 This is a Bandai model that has been re-fitted with LED lights. The original one comes with regular hologen bulbs, which are not as bright. They do take a long time to build. However, there is a guy who does all of the Bandai models with LED lights. His prices vary between $300.00 up to $600.00, I believe.

  • This is so cool the only thing is the green defletor seems Bright overpowering the front.

  • @rl10261 I think it's just from the camera that it appears that bright. In person, it is not as bright as it appears on the video. It is just bright enough that it streams across the hull...the way it's supposed to!

  • @IntelPhoenix31 What about it? I preferred the green hue over the ugly gold one. Just a preference.

  • Turn off the room lights and show again. What's wrong with the Deflector dish? A bulbed deflector dish? Shame on U .')

  • @neostart Lol! It is not a bulb. It is a LED llight.

  • That is fantastic!

  • @xanthinus Thanks!

  • aw man i want that sooooo bad

  • @Jaycalabria Lol! Thank you for viewing!

  • Woah, you MADE that? Wow. Picard would approve.

Anyway, I want to build a model of a starship at some point, but I can't decide which one...

  • very sexy

  • Lol! Thanks!!

  • How many LED's do you have set up to the dimmers for the nacelles?

  • The nacelles have flotubes in them.

  • wow, really nice job

  • Thank you very much for the comment and the view!

  • @junglelord Thank you very much. Glad you like it!

  • wish the art asylum models would be light up like that one. very nice model !!

  • Lol. Yeah, I hear ya. Thank you for viewing!!

  • Did you make this? Or did you buy it? If you bought it, where did you get it?

  • This particular one I pieced together and changed the normal hologen bulbs to LED bulbs. I had another one that I bought from someone, but the lights stopped working and i can't figure out why.

  • Erik, wonderful job here, That´s fantastic.

  • Thanks! This is by far one of the hardest models to modify.

  • That lighting is awesome! Its not my favorite enterprise model but its still awesome. How did you do that?

  • Thank you. All original hologen bulbs were replaced with LED bulbs. I also installed a dimmer switch for the engines.

  • Awesome work man.

  • Thank you very much!!

  • I happen to have the AMT version, and I'd like to know what the main difference is between the versions.

  • It's the same kit, there is only one version.

  • 1:07 looks like its going to warp! Great job!

  • Lol!! Thanks!!

  • This looks wonderful. Did you use any CCFL's, or just LEDs?

I have this AMT kit waitng and I really want to light it, but can't decide if I'm going to use LEDs or CCFLs for the windows.

  • They are all LED lights. This is an Ertl model...not AMT.

  • @erik814u2 Well AMT/ERTL.
