It takes pictures if your computer is moved suddenly, or if there are 'x' number of failed password attempts on your computer, etc. There's also prey.com, which is a great free tracking utility for your computer. Also takes pictures with your webcam if your computer is stolen. Neither of those record, though.

This software is interesting, but I have to config my wireless router for port forwarding to make it work. I finally found webcamapps.appspot.com, which uses flash to do the work and I don't need to download any software. The site will also help to archive the video too. I suggest people to give it a try.

look up iCam on the app store. You download it on ur phone and go to there website to download the free source. It's really easy all you do is open it up and choose the camera, and options like motion and what not and hit start. no router config. or anything! And it can now send u push notifications when motion is detected and you can view up to 4 cams at once, with audio!

In order for you to view the video from outside your home you need to port forward the port "8081", inside your home you can simply use whatever ip shows up when you go to start >run> type 'cmd' then enter. when the window loads type 'ipconfig' and prss enter, it should tell you there.
