Honesty, no joint could capture hip hop group chemistry like this. Extra p said: "LONS was Cold Crush in Timberlands". I heard the J5, The Arsonists; they sound, respectively, like a modern day Cold Crush. My opinion, the greatest hip hop joint from the greatest movie of all-time. Everything is pure, raw dope!! Long live the Cold Crush!!!!!
@DJMarvelous703 Man!! I've got to cosign that!! I remember a hip hop convention made its way to B-more here in 1981, from that point, I WANTED TO RHYME LIKE THEM!! You are right on point
Real Rap & Hip Hop here!!! A classic!!!! People need to understand Rap is the music, Hip Hop is the culture / lifestyle. These cats today rappin' need to learn from the pioneers.
OOOOOOOOOOOOhhh SSSSSSSSShit!!!! Mutha fuckin Cold Crush Brothers in the house!!!! This joint is damn near 30 years ago and I still get hype watchin this!! FUCKIN CLASSIC!!!!!
@MrSeablitz Gotta admit, this joint, "Think" by Main Source and "Go with the Flow" by Kam are my favorite joints of all-time. This joint, made me want to rhyme. Yeah, 30 years later the hair STILLS stand up on the back of my neck.
@cutiepiecr - money and these fake as label execs and the corporate bull shit from clear channel....when fools started rappin for the money they started letting clear channel and the labels dictate what rap was and not us......WTF
when I'm in the studio I see better shit that will never see the radio while bull shit seems to sky rocket....I sold my dam studio cause I needed a break and a fresh start.

@freshxfresh According to what I read, the music was done in studio. Fab Five heard it and only wanted 1:10, which is what you get on the album and CD. He only wanted 1:10 because he wanted the people to want more. I wish this can be confirmed, but Fab was a visonary, so that sounds like something he would do
You guys should try to bring this shit back...remaster that shit I no a celebrity that has all the crush 4 live footage on rear to rear.....that could probally help you guys remaster your stuff and do a documentary ...MOVIE DEALS that can help you guys get money ...the world needs to hear this shit man 4real ...HIP-HOP IS SO LOST THAT IT MIGHT TAKE TO GO BACK TO BRING IT BACK FORWARD.....PEACE.
