ubuntu 8.04 is OK for dual screen someone as already play I think is was Quake on 24 monitors (ubuntu)

yea, i tihnk it was 7.04 but now its even easyer when u have a nvidia card just use nvidia-settings :)

actually let me say I gave up on kub, and i dont have dual monitors, i dont mind portage enough to use deb right now. I did like kub tho

deb, kub, ub, all do the video in inbetween and while the cube turns, sabayon was written better than both of them i feel, it took me a lil while to iron out glitche son kub, on sabayon, no problem. well, Virtualbox is being a bitch, but thats all.

I think that may be possible to do that with videos as windows, as long as you turn off hardware acceleration in the video player... Linux has no problem with it because the entire desktop is 3D accelerated

UBUNtU is Debian running Gnome... it's not like its "different" than any other distro.

I myself would WAY rather install debian than ubuntu. thats like letting somone else decorate your apartment before u move in

Ya, Sabayon has great support for dual monitors (more of a Debian person myself though :)). What graphics card are you using?

Tough choice, but if I had to make a decision, Ubuntu would be better. Adding and removing apps is much easier, the full distro only needs one CD image instead of Sabayon's DVD image, and Dell actually delivers new computers with Ubuntu as an option so it does have big-company support.
