What do you expect? These guys are economic rationalists. As far as they're concerned everything should be left for the market to sort out, which works well in theory but simply screws over the most vulnerable members of society no matter how you look at it. If the equilibrium wage for unskilled labour falls to $2 an hour then as far as they're concerned that's what it is.
