Yes electrical is stock cause im broke, dont bump much gains are set low until i make that upgrade, been broke , livin in cali keeps gettin more expensive hah, anyways you definately do not want to slack on electrical like I did ATLEAST get a battery, amp clipping is not a good thing real common way to blow your sub.
Another thing, in my opinion this box sucks shoulda been more specific with my homie but thought he would do an alright job, port is to small I think. Time to step my game up and buy some tools to start making my own
BTL is 2000rms and BL is 1000. There is a lot to consider before making a decision on which one you want. As in the video description he talks of a bigger alternator. Good idea. If you have a BTL and plan on using that full power (and you WILL need lots of power to push that) your going to need to make sure your cars electrical system can handle it.

Do you see the size of his box? Boxes for 18's need to be ~6cuft + port.

it says 5-10 on the site... so technically as long as its 12-16 sq inches of port area per cube hed be good.
although that port looks a bit tiny

looks great man! not sure what it is tuned at but i would go for more like 35 to 37 Hz if ur looking for a higher Db number. and make the box sub up port back.

change the box. give it a double baffled box, at 7 cu ft after displacement with about 80sq inches of port tuned to 32hz. shell wang about 2 times harder i bet. shoots

the box is like 80ft tall, when make ur new box, make port bigger, and design the box so the sub is facing up, port facing back like the way it is now, and go buy a new amp and get rid of that shitty hifonics

Yes electrical is stock cause im broke, dont bump much gains are set low until i make that upgrade, been broke , livin in cali keeps gettin more expensive hah, anyways you definately do not want to slack on electrical like I did ATLEAST get a battery, amp clipping is not a good thing real common way to blow your sub.

BTL is 2000rms and BL is 1000. There is a lot to consider before making a decision on which one you want. As in the video description he talks of a bigger alternator. Good idea. If you have a BTL and plan on using that full power (and you WILL need lots of power to push that) your going to need to make sure your cars electrical system can handle it.
By the way, congrats Spense626 on the BL! They are such a clean sounding speaker arent they!?!? <33

IMO u should have made the box where the sub fires up and port toward the hatch, prolly would have gotten better output and would have noticed that it was louder

those were my exact plans, unfortunately i fucked up and went with another design my friend showed me, oh well I plan on replacing the box real soon, been putting cash away for new wheels plan on puttin 24's on it asap.

pyrogenxx ....lmao, the base mosel without any add-ons for the BTL is 2000...fully loaded they can handle WAY more then that...i will soon be running my 18" BTL off a SoundStream XXX10000D at 1 ohm...they can handle almost any amount of power...
