@tanxav10 Hello! For my body, I use the Dermaveen body wash and body lotion cos they contain collodial oatmeal, which is very moisturising. Plus Dermaveen products are soap-free and fragrance and paraben free :)
i had eczema on my face and i went to my doctor and he prescribed me something called Protopic. i used it at night everyday for 1 week and my eczema was gone on my face and now the redness and flakyness is completley gone!!!! and those spots where it was has never been smoother. i have sensitive skin and this did not break me out at all!!!! it was a little expensive nut trust me its worth it!!!
@imsofunny17lol Hello! Hmmmm Protopic, can't say I've heard of it in Australia! Sounds very effective, maybe I'll mention it to my doctor next time I'm in, thanks for the suggestion ^___^
thank you for this video! i think i might eczema bcuz now my face always gets flaky and its really embarrassing to be in school. i feel like everyones looking at me! sometimes its pointed out that my face gets really really red... i still havent gone to the dermatologist because my parents havent called one to get an app. yet. but ill make sure to make them call! you gave me hope that it can be fixed! hopefully i can get an app. this weekend ;__; i want to fix it asap!
Yes! I use the cetaphil moisturizer morning and night too! I might try the rosehip oil as well. My aunt gave me some mink oil for Christmas but I just can't bring myself to use stuff from an animal that was most likely not treated very well at all.
@pemchem Ohhh let me know how you go with the rosehip oil :) I've never heard of mink oil before, but I'd also be a bit concerned about using an animal by-product on my face.
Omg... MissPixieLulu I totally understand you! It's so refreshing seeing a beauty guru that has eczema! I used to get bad breakouts in highschool too. Although steroids worked for me, I switched to Chinese traditional medicine which I found more effective on my eczema. Have you tried Chinese traditional medicine for yours?
@emteeo Hello, thank you for your kind words! Actually I have tried traditional Chinese medicine. In highschool when I had that really bad flareup, the Chinese herbal doctor prescribed me Chinese medicine to apply directly on my skin and it really helped. Recently I went and saw another herbal doctor who prescribed me Chinese medicine to drink but unfortunately I didn't find that it helped TOO much (and tasted SO bitter!).
I have also have eczema :( really bad too! My skin gets some really dry spots and starts bleeding! Iook like å vampire! Cause I always get it on my neck... It's so attractive -.- Thank for helping!! You look amazing ^^ <3
@SeptemberAlexandra Oh I can totally relate! Recently with the change of weather, I have been getting really dry spots on my foreheard, ears and neck, they get really itchy and sore :( I hope your skin is feeling better! xoxo
I know this will sound wierd to do but it works for when your eczema gets really bad and dry Just put your medicine on and on top put on a thick lotion. Cover it up with a bit of gauze and cover the gauze with tape. My doctor has been telling me to do it for such a long time, and I go a really bad breakout on my foot so I haven't been able to walk for a while. But after three days of taping it up I can walk again. =) Tape works. You'd just have to to keep it on overnight.
Lucy just wondering if you are normally allergic to sunscreen? I have super sensitive skin and get serious rashes from all sunscreens i have tried - from drugstore to high end. Do you think the Ego Sunsense Daily Face SPF 30+ you used for this video is worth testing out? Thanks <3 im on a mara with watching your vids today and procrastinating from uni assessments hahahaha
@VIffleslove Hello! Surprisingly, I'm not allergic to sunscreen! But I do try and use sunscreen that's for sensitive skin and is fragrance-free. It sounds like you are allergic to an ingredient in the sunscreen, especially because you have tried so many! Have you tried any of the Ego sunscreens before? I went to one of their trainings recently and they said that their sunscreen for sensitive skin is free from chemical absorbers and fragrances - I'd def recommend that for you to try! Good luck :)
i have the same type of skin!! i use clinique eye cream, olay night cream and recently the lancome genefique serum. its made the most change to my skin and has helped it recover from when i do have these 'episodes' of not so great skin. aveeno is the most amazing moisturiser!
@maristgirl4lyf Oh I'm very glad you found products that work for you! My friend gave me a sample of the Genefique serum so I will give it a go! Aveeno is indeed great because it has oatmeal :)
I think she does. When she baths, she uses rolled oats and it soothes her skin. You could also add milk in the water too. ^__^ Have you tried it before?
@GotTakoyaki Ohhh actually I use oats to cleanse my face but haven't tried it in the bath. I learnt the trick rom Bubzbeauty and she also says you can add it to the bath :) Oats are great for moisturising!
@GotTakoyaki Yep Sudo Cream is a great barrier cream for skin rashes :) I've heard that olive oil is very moisturising, do your friend use it on her face?
OMG. watching your video REALLY gives me hope for my skin now haha. i think i might have eczema too cuz i have really sensitive and super dry skin and whenever i go out in the sun my face gets really irritated. i have lost all hope cuz this prevents me from doing a lot of stuff thats fun outdoors like goign to the beach or playing soccer :( but now i really want to use cetaphil! hopefully i can see a dermatologist soon!
@angiegirl95 Awwww it's great to hear that my video was helpful for you! From what you've told me, it does sound like you might have eczema. Do make sure you always wear sunscreen when you go outdoors! Did you try Cetaphil yet? Let me know how you go :)
intenta usar extracto de romero en aceite 100% natural en tu eczema, a mi me aminoró el mio, al principio sentí que me ardía la cara, pero a la mañana se miraba muy sana e hidratada
@breadbuttersugar Yes I do notice I get flareups when I'm stressed and there's a change in the weather, and recently I got a pretty bad flareup around my scalp, it was SO dry :( I do hope it gets better with age, thank you for your kind words ^__^
I use a lot of QV sensitive skin products which help me! You should try them (don't worry I know what it feels like to have eczema!) It is probably the only range of products that I stick with using because I don't have a reaction whatsoever.
@victoriale2283 Hi, yes I have tried QV (feels like I've tried everything out there haha!), the facial moisturiser didn't work for me. Even though it's meant to be similar to Cetaphil, I think it's more greasy. I also got a reaction to their eye cream :( I quite like their body lotion though!
oh my gosh, i cant believe you have eczema! i have it too and i understand how much it sucks!! ive had it my whole life too and i had my really bad flare up in yr 9.it not only looked horrible but it hurt so bad! i had really bad self esteem during highschool but my skin isnt as bad as it used to be since i care for it now. thanks for this, i wanna try the cetaphil products! <3 i agree with the simple products becuz i usually just buy the cheap sorbolene moisturisers and it works great for me.
@t0MaToe Awwww our skin condition sounds very similar! Yes eczema is not only unsightly, it's also quite painful :( I'm really happy that your skin is better now! Let me know how you go with Cetaphil if you decide to try it.
@MissPixielLulu i have eczema as well so i tried a cream called vanicream . it works for the spots that aren't coverd by clothes. so i noticed you use cetiphil cream but not the face wash how come because i'm trying to find one for when i get home from work or working out .good vid i think i will try the cetiphil mous. creamand rose hip oil .
@dmx1650 I mentioned in the video that I have triedthe Cetaphil cleanser but for some reason it made me flare up, it seems like the skin on my face can't handle any types of washes :S
Wow, Lucy. This was really educative. I didn't know how much those who have eczema had to compromise with the products placed on their skin. One of my best friends has this skin condition and now I think I know a lot more about it, and will recommend her to try using the rose hip oil. May try it myself, actually :) Do you just get them from health stores? Great vid Luce!
@meejmuse Awww thanks Jen! :) The worst thing about eczema is how unpredictable it can be and how everyone suffers from it in different ways. You might try one product that a fellow eczema sufferer has recommended, but it might not work for you at all, despite having similar skin conditions. But I hope your friend will also like rosehip oil (if she decides to try), I highly recommend it for you too ^__^ Yep most drugstores should sell it and it's not too expensive. Let me know how you go! xoxo
Hey hun have you tried the SIMPLE range? I have dry sensitive skin and i find that it works for me. I dont have ezcema tho so it may be ok for you- but im thinking more for the toner aspect. Its so gentle and moisturising. Zero alcohol. Maybe check it out in the supermarket or Priceline :)
@LoveJulzxx Hi! Actually I tired the Simple moisturiser a long time ago and it gave me a reaction :( Haven't tried the toner though, I might give it a go sometime, thanks!
Omg... having eczema is so annoying i havent got it on my face yet but i have it on my hands. sometimes my hands get so bad i can't pick up or hold anything. but thats not very often. I'm just wondering if you ever get those tiny wierd water blisters?
Not only do you have great tutorials, but you have eczema and for someone who has psoriasis makes it great to see the types of products you would use since i tend to get patches on my face as well (mostly under my eyebrows. and on my forehead near the part of my hair).
So glad i found you, because it's nice seeing an aussie do beauty videos (woo! go aussies!). I was just wondering what camera you use? it's really good quality (:
Also, i totally have dry sensitive skin like you aswell. It's such a PAIN! and, i have rosecea, so my cheeks are red all the time. its stupid! grr!
@livesurfsmilexo Hi and welcome to my channel, thank you for subbing ^__^ Btw I use a Sony NEX-3, it's sort of a compact DSLR camera, great video and sound quality - I highly recommend it!! Awww I know how you feel, I also get really red cheeks from my eczema, it gets really puffy and sore :S
I've suffered from eczema since early childhood. Fortunately, I've never had it on my face just from the neck down. However, it runs in my family & my sister gets it on her face. It was quite damaging to my self esteem, having painful, dry/flaky rashes on visible parts of my body and not being able to wear shorts or short sleeves in the summer. The last 4 yrs, I've not had a flare ups; I think it 's due to a vegetarian diet (eggs & fish caused flare ups), as well as moisturizing daily.
Sorry, ran out of room. I hope your video is able to help those who also suffer from eczema. Good skin really can make a difference in helping someone feel good about themselves. :)
@VitaminGee Awww sorry to hear that about your sis, hope her eczema is under control now! And it's great to hear that you've not had a flare-up in 4 years, that's amazing :) Unfortunately I also suffer from eczema on my body, especially on my joins (eg: on the inside of my elbows, behind my knees etc). I got it so bad in highschool that it was all over my whole body and I also couldn't wear short sleeves and shorts/skirts :/ I totally know how you felt!
@MissPixieLulu It's a horrible skin condition but luckily, with good skin care and diet we can control our symptoms. I am grateful I've not had a flare-up because it was a constant battle since early childhood; I was even sent home from school @ the age of 4 for scratching & gotten questions & stares from classmates. I was especially prone to getting them on my joints as well so it made moving around quite uncomfortable. Again, thanks for replying and I hope your video helps others with eczema.
@SandyPark94 Haha I don't do DIYs much cos I'm just too afraid to test things on my skin, but if I find something good I'll def make a vid about it ^___^
You are such a sweet . nice and encouraging person :)) For cleansers, I highly recommend the 'avene extremely gentle cleanser'. I have roacea and always have flare-ups when weather changes /stress goes up. The cleanser is very very gentle , even more gentle than the cetaphil one. Moreover, I also recommend a website ' cosdna' where you have to type the product name ( keywords is fine ) and you will have a more detailed look at its ingridients. Best wishes from Hong Kong!
@ArolNeergAnihc Awwww thank you, you're very sweet yourself :) Oh thanks alot for the recommendation! Actually I think my friend gave me a sample of the Avene cleanser before, I might try and find it and give it a go. And I'll def check out that website, sounds very handy for people like me!
you should try avenes gentle cleanser and toner, i think your skin wont react to it - you can get it avene from chemist warehouse and their a french brand
@missashy90 Yep the pharmacy where I work at has Aveeno but I've never tired them before! I've heard good things about them though so I def will consider giving them a go! Thanks for the recommendation hun :)
Your skin is so amazing esp around your nose area. there's not even a hint of redness. I also like how you keep ur routine so simple compared to most gurus. there are people who are trying too hard using extravagant products but still end up with their skins not even as great as urs.
@Yoonsicretive722 Awwww thank you, really glad you appreciate my simple routine ^__^ Even if my skin could handle those extravagant products, I honestly wouldn't be able to afford them on a regular basis! I want to show everyone that affordable products doesn't automatically mean they are lower quality, they can be as effective as expensive ones. Sometimes people get too stuck on brand names and end up wasting alot of money :(
@ii12iis Hehe I show my bare face in almost every video, was a bit difficult at the start but very much use to it now! And everyone is always so nice about it :) Thanks so much for watching and for your lovely comment!!
2ndly, I have the same condition as you and I live in melbourne so the weather is always upsetting my skin!
I do highly recommend Biotherm Biosensitive mouse cleanser which is one of the ONLY cleansers that have ever worked on my skin! it really helps balance out my skin without making it dry or sensitive!
@hkcandy1 Thank you! Gosh Melbourne weather sure gets to alot of us doesn't it? Btw thanks for the recommendation, I've got a whole list of new skincare products to try now! :D
Hun I know your scared but try the Nature's Secret Goat's Milk moisturizer :) its the HGHGHHGGGGGGG moisturizer on like $7! hahah we use the same sunscreen its the best! <3 You!
@AddictionToShopping Oh yeah I totally forgot about that babe! Where do I buy it from again?? And yep Daily Face is awesome, I usually hate wearing sunscreen!
@AddictionToShopping Haha that's nice of you hun, but it's k, I think it's quite affordable already so I'll go and get some next time I go to MyChemist :D
@AddictionToShopping Bahahaha so funny, I know what you mean! And I'm even more lame, when I go into other pharmacies I start straightening the products on their shelves...weirdo!! :P
@MissPixieLulu HAHAHA NICE! When I buy something form other pharmacies I also bring the next on to the front. I LOVE that someone does this too!!!!! xxxxxxxx
Hi Lucy, I didn't even know you had eczema until you started your YouTube vids! I just wanted to say that you are always beautiful inside out, no matter what your skin is like. It must be so hard trying to find products that don't irritate your skin ><
Thanks for sharing the tips; i'm sure lots of viewers will find them useful. I've been looking for a sunscreen for the face that won't leave an oily finish, so thank you ^^
@missjaiitee Awwww thank you Julia, that really means alot to me!! *hugs*!! Yep it is hard to find suitable products, bit of trial and error :P Btw you'll def like the sunscreen cos it doesn't feel oily or greasy in any way!
Thank you so much for doing this video! Your message at the end of the video was really encouraging :)
I also live in Melbourne and have eczema and hayfever.
my skin's always dry and itchy and I've been trying for years to find the right skin care routine. I've been using Cetaphil as well and find that it works really well. Have you tried My Beauty Diary masks? I use them once a week and I've never had any reaction to them. They leave my face feeling a lot more hydrated after flare ups :)
@porcelaintown Thanks alot for watching and glad you can relate! Nope I haven't tried My Beauty Diary masks, where do you get them from? Would love to give them a go since it sounds like we have similar skin and you found them to be good :)
@MissPixieLulu I got mine from Ebay, but I've heard you can get them from Sasa and YesStyle. I'd suggest you try the Natto Masks from My Beauty Diary since I've heard a lot of the others can make your skin sting :)
Ahhh really, really helpful vid hun!! My skin is dry, so watching this was totally relevant to me, and I have to say, I found it so informative and thorough...like all your videos hehe :) Thanks so much for sharing your routine, absolutely loved watching it!! <3
At first I thought u were saying athsma with ur accent and I was like oh I thought this was a skin care routine and then I realized u were saying eczema lolz I felt very stupid;)
@mintchococat I have eczema on my body too, but I just show my face routine in this video. I get really bad rashes between my elbows and behind my knees and once I had it all over my body :( I use an oatmeal based body lotion called Dermaveen and for the rashes I have to use hydrocortisone cream.
So so usefull, even though I haven't got exema I have extremely dry skin and huge pores. Thank you so much for this video and explaining so much and being so honest <3 heh, and I didn't know that about sunscreen XD Keep up the videos, cause your my favorite "new youtube guru" if you can say that :3
@EijiFan7 Because I don't have oily skin myself, I unfortunately don't have much knowledge about oily skin to share with you guys! But if you check out missglamorazzi's channel, she has a video called 'Summer Skincare Routine for Oily Skin' which should be helpful :)
@MissPixieLulu ohh i have eczema as well just not on my face and combination skin there, my problem being my Tzone but i'll be sure to watch that recommended video. thanks so much :)
I got exactly the same problem than you and I use all the product of Aveeno. they work pretty well for me with absolutly no réaction. and they have a product for eczema that I use when I have a big réaction instead of corticostéroide and it works!!
And thank you for your video, I'm happy to see some other product that I really can use!!!
@mashalena Oh I haven't tried Aveeno products but I have heard they are good cos they contain oatmeal. I actually use Dermaveen body lotion, which also contains oatmeal, but when I used Demaveen facial moisturiser, I had a bad reaction to it :S But will def check out Aveeno sometime, thanks!
I know you didn't use many products because of your eczema, but I'm glad you showed us this. It was refreshing to see that you don't 'need' to use a lot of produst for it to work and I Thank you for it!
@CherryBlossom009 It's my pleasure, and thank you so much for watching! I really think the key to managing eczema-prone skin is to keep everything simple :)
I usually get it around my eyes and above my cheeks all the time, I use hydrocortazon sorry if its spelled wrong but that usually decreases the inflammation, then I used clinique moisture surge its pink and over bout a month the dryness go away. I kno clinique is pricy but thats the only product that doesnt irritate my skin
@leonorababygurl88 That sounds just like me! Yep hydrocortisone is a steroid cream, I have to use it when I get flare-ups but unfortunately it thins out your skin over time :( Clinique is def a little pricey but I wouldn't mind using it if it works, am interested in trying it out!
@artichokeh34rts Yeah I saw, I can't wait to try it cos oatmeal is known to be beneficial for dry/sensitive skin :D I actually use an oatmeal based body moisturiser because I have dry skin on my body too.
I had the SAME exact thing happen with my skin last school year (11th grade in USA, I'm not sure whether the grading system in Australia is the same). It's really nice to know that there are other people out there with the same problems who feel the same insecurities about it. Thanks so much! :)
@yanniesaurus Wow it seems like alot of people get it in high-school, stress maybe? Anyway, I totally know how you feel! I hope it's all under control now :)
Yay thanks for sharing this video!! I need to try out some of those products! and have you tried the Clinique dramatically different moisturizer? I love it cuz it's really gentle and i have kinda sensitive skin...
and i never knew about eczema before! i learned something new today! and i think your skin looks really nice!!! :D
and i never knew that about SPF! you're so smart!! ^.^
@darkerthanblack216 No problems Lisa, and thanks for watching dear ^___^ Nope I haven't tried Clinique but I'll def check it out! And glad you were able to learn something new from this vid, woot! :D
@dantayvid Haha thanks Daniel! Yeah it was difficult in highschool but it feels great now that I've learnt to accept my skin problems, there are worse things in the world! Glad to hear you learnt something new from my vid, alot of people think the SPF number is how long the sunscreen lasts for, which wouldn't be long at all lol! And you better not be getting your 8 glasses of water all from energy drinks! O__o
Nice vid :) You're so cute! I just wanted to say that for anyone who is interested in information about sunscreens or has questions: fuzkittie has a video called "sunscreens" where she explains so much ^^ Hope it helps.
@mystic5059 The foundation I wore in this vid is L'Oreal Infalliable (Sand Beige), it's my fav because it really stays on all day! I also use Revlon PhotoReady and Mirenesse Liquid Silk Foundation :) Since you have dry skin, make sure you apply moisturiser AND primer before applying the foundation. Hope that helps!
Wonderful Video Gorgeous!! Oh that's great that you like the Rosehip Oil - I love using it twice a week too :-D I love using the Blistex Lip Conditioner as well at night :o) xoxo
how do u like the Trilogy stuff? I think it shud be great!

I use a lot of QV sensitive skin products which help me! You should try them (don't worry I know what it feels like to have eczema!) It is probably the only range of products that I stick with using because I don't have a reaction whatsoever.
victoriale2283 7 months ago
@victoriale2283 Hi, yes I have tried QV (feels like I've tried everything out there haha!), the facial moisturiser didn't work for me. Even though it's meant to be similar to Cetaphil, I think it's more greasy. I also got a reaction to their eye cream :( I quite like their body lotion though!
MissPixieLulu 7 months ago
oh my gosh, i cant believe you have eczema! i have it too and i understand how much it sucks!! ive had it my whole life too and i had my really bad flare up in yr 9.it not only looked horrible but it hurt so bad! i had really bad self esteem during highschool but my skin isnt as bad as it used to be since i care for it now. thanks for this, i wanna try the cetaphil products! <3 i agree with the simple products becuz i usually just buy the cheap sorbolene moisturisers and it works great for me.
t0MaToe 7 months ago
@t0MaToe Awwww our skin condition sounds very similar! Yes eczema is not only unsightly, it's also quite painful :( I'm really happy that your skin is better now! Let me know how you go with Cetaphil if you decide to try it.
MissPixieLulu 7 months ago
@MissPixielLulu i have eczema as well so i tried a cream called vanicream . it works for the spots that aren't coverd by clothes. so i noticed you use cetiphil cream but not the face wash how come because i'm trying to find one for when i get home from work or working out .good vid i think i will try the cetiphil mous. creamand rose hip oil .
peace
dmx1650 7 months ago
@dmx1650 I mentioned in the video that I have triedthe Cetaphil cleanser but for some reason it made me flare up, it seems like the skin on my face can't handle any types of washes :S
MissPixieLulu 7 months ago
who cares about the extra cheese! WE LIKE CHEESE! XD
happycupkitty 7 months ago
@happycupkitty LOL!! *Cheesy smile* :D
MissPixieLulu 7 months ago
Love Jen xx
meejmuse 7 months ago
@meejmuse Awww thanks Jen! :) The worst thing about eczema is how unpredictable it can be and how everyone suffers from it in different ways. You might try one product that a fellow eczema sufferer has recommended, but it might not work for you at all, despite having similar skin conditions. But I hope your friend will also like rosehip oil (if she decides to try), I highly recommend it for you too ^__^ Yep most drugstores should sell it and it's not too expensive. Let me know how you go! xoxo
MissPixieLulu 7 months ago
Hey hun have you tried the SIMPLE range? I have dry sensitive skin and i find that it works for me. I dont have ezcema tho so it may be ok for you- but im thinking more for the toner aspect. Its so gentle and moisturising. Zero alcohol. Maybe check it out in the supermarket or Priceline :)
LoveJulzxx 7 months ago
@LoveJulzxx Hi! Actually I tired the Simple moisturiser a long time ago and it gave me a reaction :( Haven't tried the toner though, I might give it a go sometime, thanks!
MissPixieLulu 7 months ago
@misspixielulu you should try the purpose cleanser its nothing simple but it doesn't irritate!
iluvgreen5454 7 months ago
Omg... having eczema is so annoying i havent got it on my face yet but i have it on my hands. sometimes my hands get so bad i can't pick up or hold anything. but thats not very often. I'm just wondering if you ever get those tiny wierd water blisters?
MsTovlu 8 months ago
@MsTovlu Oh I don't get it on my hands, that sounds painful! And yeah sometimes I get little blisters on my arms and they take ages to heal :S
MissPixieLulu 7 months ago
Not only do you have great tutorials, but you have eczema and for someone who has psoriasis makes it great to see the types of products you would use since i tend to get patches on my face as well (mostly under my eyebrows. and on my forehead near the part of my hair).
Consider yourself subbed :D

@L2Vkathleen Thanks so much for the sub and great to hear that you found my video to be helpful :)

Hey, i'm a new subbie, and love your videos.
So glad i found you, because it's nice seeing an aussie do beauty videos (woo! go aussies!). I was just wondering what camera you use? it's really good quality (:
Also, i totally have dry sensitive skin like you aswell. It's such a PAIN! and, i have rosecea, so my cheeks are red all the time. its stupid! grr!
livesurfsmilexo 8 months ago
@livesurfsmilexo Hi and welcome to my channel, thank you for subbing ^__^ Btw I use a Sony NEX-3, it's sort of a compact DSLR camera, great video and sound quality - I highly recommend it!! Awww I know how you feel, I also get really red cheeks from my eczema, it gets really puffy and sore :S
MissPixieLulu 8 months ago
I've suffered from eczema since early childhood. Fortunately, I've never had it on my face just from the neck down. However, it runs in my family & my sister gets it on her face. It was quite damaging to my self esteem, having painful, dry/flaky rashes on visible parts of my body and not being able to wear shorts or short sleeves in the summer. The last 4 yrs, I've not had a flare ups; I think it 's due to a vegetarian diet (eggs & fish caused flare ups), as well as moisturizing daily.
VitaminGee 8 months ago
Sorry, ran out of room. I hope your video is able to help those who also suffer from eczema. Good skin really can make a difference in helping someone feel good about themselves. :)
VitaminGee 8 months ago
@VitaminGee Awww sorry to hear that about your sis, hope her eczema is under control now! And it's great to hear that you've not had a flare-up in 4 years, that's amazing :) Unfortunately I also suffer from eczema on my body, especially on my joins (eg: on the inside of my elbows, behind my knees etc). I got it so bad in highschool that it was all over my whole body and I also couldn't wear short sleeves and shorts/skirts :/ I totally know how you felt!
MissPixieLulu 8 months ago
@MissPixieLulu It's a horrible skin condition but luckily, with good skin care and diet we can control our symptoms. I am grateful I've not had a flare-up because it was a constant battle since early childhood; I was even sent home from school @ the age of 4 for scratching & gotten questions & stares from classmates. I was especially prone to getting them on my joints as well so it made moving around quite uncomfortable. Again, thanks for replying and I hope your video helps others with eczema.
VitaminGee 8 months ago
@SandyPark94 Haha I don't do DIYs much cos I'm just too afraid to test things on my skin, but if I find something good I'll def make a vid about it ^___^
MissPixieLulu 8 months ago
You are such a sweet . nice and encouraging person :)) For cleansers, I highly recommend the 'avene extremely gentle cleanser'. I have roacea and always have flare-ups when weather changes /stress goes up. The cleanser is very very gentle , even more gentle than the cetaphil one. Moreover, I also recommend a website ' cosdna' where you have to type the product name ( keywords is fine ) and you will have a more detailed look at its ingridients. Best wishes from Hong Kong!
ArolNeergAnihc 8 months ago
@ArolNeergAnihc Awwww thank you, you're very sweet yourself :) Oh thanks alot for the recommendation! Actually I think my friend gave me a sample of the Avene cleanser before, I might try and find it and give it a go. And I'll def check out that website, sounds very handy for people like me!
MissPixieLulu 8 months ago
you should try avenes gentle cleanser and toner, i think your skin wont react to it - you can get it avene from chemist warehouse and their a french brand
missashy90 8 months ago
@missashy90 Yep the pharmacy where I work at has Aveeno but I've never tired them before! I've heard good things about them though so I def will consider giving them a go! Thanks for the recommendation hun :)
MissPixieLulu 8 months ago
Your skin is so amazing esp around your nose area. there's not even a hint of redness. I also like how you keep ur routine so simple compared to most gurus. there are people who are trying too hard using extravagant products but still end up with their skins not even as great as urs.
Yoonsicretive722 8 months ago
@Yoonsicretive722 Awwww thank you, really glad you appreciate my simple routine ^__^ Even if my skin could handle those extravagant products, I honestly wouldn't be able to afford them on a regular basis! I want to show everyone that affordable products doesn't automatically mean they are lower quality, they can be as effective as expensive ones. Sometimes people get too stuck on brand names and end up wasting alot of money :(

I've been looking for a sunscreen for the face that won't leave an oily finish, so thank you ^^
missjaiitee 8 months ago
@missjaiitee Awwww thank you Julia, that really means alot to me!! *hugs*!! Yep it is hard to find suitable products, bit of trial and error :P Btw you'll def like the sunscreen cos it doesn't feel oily or greasy in any way!
MissPixieLulu 8 months ago
Thank you so much for doing this video! Your message at the end of the video was really encouraging :)
I also live in Melbourne and have eczema and hayfever.
my skin's always dry and itchy and I've been trying for years to find the right skin care routine. I've been using Cetaphil as well and find that it works really well. Have you tried My Beauty Diary masks? I use them once a week and I've never had any reaction to them. They leave my face feeling a lot more hydrated after flare ups :)
porcelaintown 8 months ago
@porcelaintown Thanks alot for watching and glad you can relate! Nope I haven't tried My Beauty Diary masks, where do you get them from? Would love to give them a go since it sounds like we have similar skin and you found them to be good :)
MissPixieLulu 8 months ago
@MissPixieLulu I got mine from Ebay, but I've heard you can get them from Sasa and YesStyle. I'd suggest you try the Natto Masks from My Beauty Diary since I've heard a lot of the others can make your skin sting :)

EijiFan7 8 months ago
I got exactly the same problem than you and I use all the product of Aveeno. they work pretty well for me with absolutly no réaction. and they have a product for eczema that I use when I have a big réaction instead of corticostéroide and it works!!
And thank you for your video, I'm happy to see some other product that I really can use!!!
mashalena 8 months ago
@mashalena Oh I haven't tried Aveeno products but I have heard they are good cos they contain oatmeal. I actually use Dermaveen body lotion, which also contains oatmeal, but when I used Demaveen facial moisturiser, I had a bad reaction to it :S But will def check out Aveeno sometime, thanks!
MissPixieLulu 8 months ago
Thank you verry much!

I usually get it around my eyes and above my cheeks all the time, I use hydrocortazon sorry if its spelled wrong but that usually decreases the inflammation, then I used clinique moisture surge its pink and over bout a month the dryness go away. I kno clinique is pricy but thats the only product that doesnt irritate my skin
leonorababygurl88 8 months ago
@leonorababygurl88 That sounds just like me! Yep hydrocortisone is a steroid cream, I have to use it when I get flare-ups but unfortunately it thins out your skin over time :( Clinique is def a little pricey but I wouldn't mind using it if it works, am interested in trying it out!
MissPixieLulu 8 months ago
