When you overclock a component it means that you push it to get better preformance, like trimming a moped. When you overclock you go in to the settongs of the device and manually changes the settings to make it run "better". But the only - is that the processor or graphics card gets much hotter and that can do damage if you overclock it too much. ; )

Push the CPU higher than the stock settings, but the more you overclock the more heat the CPU causes and Heat causes the CPU you wear out.

@I9kieran94 the GHZ is not all, check some benchmark out, Intel processor are dominating even if the last X2 black edition is clocked at 4.5 ghz and the i7 920 is stock, they use very old technology.But they are cheap compare to the i7 series i must admit the 975 is kinda useless yeah. il go for p55 motherboard with the 860 i7 clocked at 3.46 ghz with turbo boost, cost a lot less

the particles suck!! it would be good if there was a particle engine on PCs so smoke and water splashes would look real.. it sounds tedious but it improves everything due to being able to put dust in the air

I think you got it. I run it on a 9600gt 5000x2 amd 4gRAM but on veryhigh I have a little lag. But a very important note I also have an acer motherboard lol. I enjoyed it on high DX9

no, warhead is only sort of an extension of the existing story. it doesn't expand on what happens in the story of the first one. it only allows you to play as a dif character on the same island but on the other side of it. all this means is that instead of playing as Nomad, u play as Psycho.

it makes the bullets more realistic and stuff no more bulet proof koreans and no more bullet proof you(without ormour mode you die in 3 shots with your still superhuman ish)

I was just wondering lately I built a new computer and it has a quad-core processor, 4 gigs of ram, 9800GTX and running vista (DX10). I find in crysis that in some parts of the game it slows down especially where there is water and in the later stages where you escape the alien ship and go into a ice wasteland I find when you get out of it and fight with your buddies it gets real chunky and also in the last stage it gets real chunky, I don't think a 280GTX or a 9800GX2 would run it.
