Chris sanacroce broke his back on a flat top, and now refuses to fly them! There is another video of a guy getting so much torque steer from a flat top, his risers twist, and he spirals into the ground breaking his bones.... I'l find it if anyone is interested in buying one of these pieces of crap!
The Flat Top rocks! Best safety, best power to weight ratio. I will never forget when Gabor pounded his Flat Top into the ground at about 50 mph on the very first days of flying. He did an uphill death spiral and hit so hard he bounced 6 ft in the air and tumbled across the field. Then he climbs out with a smile on his face and says "wow I'm impressed with the safety of this unit, I though I was gonna die". He was completely unharmed after the crumple zone crushed to save his life. WOW!!!
@imasuper0308 Many many pilots have been seriously injured & killed doing death spirals. That's why it is called a death spiral. When Gabor came up short he knew he was in trouble as only an expert pilot can know. You should have heard him though in his cool Hungarian accent after crawling out of the wreckage. "I thought I was going to die for sure, the safety of this unit is remarkable". He kept saying. The Flat Top has 16 inches of crush zone to save your bacon and it works awesome!!
@dannyweston1 What motors are they using now ? Please tell me why you think Flat Tops are old fashion and dangerous. Yes,Dell is different.... mabey even deranged.But speaking for only myself,Dell has never been an asshole towards me. Have you ever met Dell ?
@nerblebun They are still using Flat Tops. All the top acro pilots in the USA do as well including all the Team Redbull pilots over here. Danny Weston is just lying.
