@pr0Rage Headers cost about 400-450 in my area and the exhaust shop only charged me $50 to install the system. To cut my bumper and mold in the inserts a shop charged me $100.
@GTOHawg thanks for the quick response. I just got a 2006 GTO and looking to upgrade the headers. Have you had any problems with the Pacesetters? They are the lowest price headers out there so I wasn't sure if they are really that cheap or they aren't that great.
@pr0Rage Well all I can say is I have not had any problems at all out of my pacesetter headers. Now if I lived in a climate with a lot of snow, I would spend the extra and get Kooks or ARH. But here in the South, I am good with the PS.
@GTOHawg because of this video, i ordered my spintech h-pipe exhaust and i went ahead and got the Kooks headers. Your goat is amazing, and I can't wait to get mine to sound just like yours.

Every rational bone in my body would say to get some Japanese hatchback that will be more reliable and easier to maintain, but I just know that I will listen to my heart and buy a GTO.
@TSCYankeesMets I will say that these cars are not cheap to work on, but very few true muscle cars are. LOL. I threw a rod in my LS1 in October at 101,000 miles and am installing a new aluminum LS3 stroked to a 418. Should have it running by second week of December. But even with that, it has been a blast to drive and I would buy one again. Good luck and enjoy. ALso watch your right foot.. Tickets for an 18 year old can get expensive.
