I went to Paganfest, too. The best fucking gig of Eluveitie I've seen

btw.: I've seen them at the extended show in Bochum (I'm actually not sure how it's called in english, but I think it's right) in Germany ;)

This makes my young heart crack because such festivals are rather rare down here where I live. Although this year capital of my country gave its best and made an awesome week of folk music in honor of St Patrick's Day.

If you're referring to Chrigel [the singer/flutist/mandolin player] - he's doing a tin whistle solo, using probably a genuine original Clark penny whistle in C.

I think that it might be the Irish Low Whistle, as in other songs by Eluveitie, which is what Chrigel most commonly plays. Not sure though, but that's in D.

Since I play the tin whistle myself, I'm sure this song is in C. About the low whistle on just a regular one, I'm pretty sure it's not low, since I also get to the same tunes. I use what he does as well - the C original penny whistle by Clarke. He also has a low one, but doesn't use it in this track.

I'm almost 100% positive about it, from my experience playing it, but if I'm wrong, I'd love a proof in order to maybe play Eluveitie better :)

Alright well I know that some other songs such as Isara use the low whistle as that seems to be one of Chrigel's favorite instruments, but yeah this song seems to be in C. I play the Irish Tin Whistle which is in D and I couldnt seem to find the key on it, so I guess you're right.
