  • SA80 isn't a weapon it's short for Small Arms of 1980 (the year it was made) it's actually called L85A2.

  • @TheARMAProductions

Iraq was a success, I was there to see it end. The Iraqi army is capable of holding their own. ANA needs a bit more work

  • brits are the only people who remain to claim an elite status after retreating from insurgent militia in both of their assigned provinces

  • @TheARMAProductions

the basrah pull out was negotiated between british forces and the enemy. The town was under literal siege from foreign militia. There was no excuse. 2007 was the bloodiest of years in Iraq and you abandoned the southern sector, your only responsibility.

Im sure 3/5 handed out candy in Marjah and Sangin....candy apparently pacified both of those strongholds. Please dont claim the elite bullshit. You still have more troops in Helmand and more KIA than we sent over in 09

  • Great video!

  • @cockneyfug Brittish army no not normally. Special forces like SBS and coms or RM have the option of selecting their own kit according to mission parametres. Hence the FNFAL, M4 ,MP5sd

  • Nice video, respect from an Aussie soldier :) I'll see you guys around ;)

  • @usmarinerifleman..... dick! i was in helmand in 2007 wit 3 cdo brigade to which the british para's took over. sort ur facts out b4 gobbin off!

  • @djsully69

In 2007, the USMC only had a few battalions in Helmand, we couldnt wait for the DoD to unleash us to unfuck the Afghan war in 2009.

The fact of the matter is youre under our command right now

  • You Brits are some tough mother fuckers! I would rather die in combat with a Brit by my side than conquer an entire nation with an overwhelming sized force

  • @abcd1234781

may I remind you that the British retreated out of Southern Helmand and Basrah in 2007?

The best allies we had in the war on terror was the Iraq army, except they dont have superb commercials to claim credit for fixing a british defeat.

  • @USMarineRifleman0311 i think i might just harass you since i've nothing better to do today..coccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hope to be joining the marines as an officer when im older :)

    Great video btw

  • The World don´t need these things. The World needs only Peace and Love.

  • @cockneyfug a standerd british soldiers dosent use the m16s they use the sa80 but the special forces such as SAS or SBS like on this video use the m16s,m4 carbine, or canadas c7 assault rifle and on this video there isnt any british soldiers but british special forces

  • Comment removed

  • @cockneyfug

Yeps, UK does use or didi use M16. Standard Infantry is issued the L85A2 and UKSF and UKSFSG uses Diemaco Rifles, mostly the C7 Carbine also called L119.

SAS can use whatever they want.

  • Music is soundtrack from "The Last of the Mohicans" motion picture.

  • Guys guys, The British army use the L85a2 (SA80) The SAS use the Diemarco c8 (M16 carbine) So the British forces use M16's and L85a2s.

  • last of the mohicans - Hans Zimmers

  • hey guys, greetings, i wonder, what's the name of this background music ya?

  • cool video....... want to join them but I'm too small.... But I'll join them they are THE GREAT ROYAL MARINES or THE GREAT SBS or THE GREAT GREEN BERETS

  • THE ROYAL MARINES are great.. hats off

  • THE ROYAL MARINES are great.. hats off

  • @cockneyfug yes they do, those arent m16s they are another kind of M4, m16s have a longer barrel and are longer.

  • I so cnt wait till I join ;D

  • @cockneyfug YES WE DO......

  • @MAJORMANIC22

no we don't what the fuck are you on about we use the sa80a2 the m16 is an american standerd issue

  • @inky326 GROW UP... we use the L85A2 actually.. sa80 is not official name... and we use varied weapons... so which force do you serve in.. MR EXPERT... NOTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.... As an elite unit we have access to mutiple weapon platforms..

  • @MAJORMANIC22 no we dont share multiple weapons? all of the british armed forces are issued with the l85a2, yes with special forces it varies but the army air force marines and navy would never rarely use another weapon

  • @inky326 the royal marines have been using the m-16 for years

  • @inky326 SAS and SBS use the M16 and you clearly dont know any thing about the british army

  • @inky326 Royal Marines use the m16 when the L85a2 cant work fully,

  • @NathanAndrewLonsdale

but i've always been told that as it is an american weapon it doesn't get used by the british and how comes there isn't very much footage of a british soldier using an m16 and why would us brits want to use the m16 when it's very crap and always stops workng.

  • @MAJORMANIC22 no they dont.... They use L85A1( SA80). This video is not legit... Some parts of the video are Navy seal and RMC. You arent a RMC MAJORMANIC22 ... this is the wepones they us, son. L85A2 Rifle - 5.56 x 45 mm L110A 15.56 x 45 mm L115A3 - .338 Lapua Magnum L7A2 GPMG FN MAG 7.62 x 51 mm L1A1 50. Cal Javelin Anti-Tank missile L16A2 81 mm Mortar L107A1 L17A2 UGL Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife They could pick it up in a war zone, but it is not they're standard rifle.
  • @MAJORMANIC22 no we don't

  • @MAJORMANIC22 We use n00b t00bs aswell

  • Look at the older comments. They are actors....other points that are incorrect, Marines are the only ones allowed to go for SBS further training. Since you already got the beret you don't have to do any more commando tests...just specialise and practise more CQB....just my 2 pennys worth.

  • @KarraBooM1 My cousin was in the Yorkshire Regiment and he got accepted for SBS selection. Your info is flawed mate.

  • I admire the royale marines for their courage and bravery. I hope to be of them some day

  • Legends.

  • if this says royal marine's and sbs then why were there only sbs

  • how is it a promotional video if u see one of the soldiers get shot. thats gonna get ppl to sign up init

  • @MakeSensePlz ITS HEROISM!!! WHICH YOU DONT HAVE!!! HIS SAVING HIS BROTHER FROM ANTHOR MOTHER

  • @solloman you sound like an alabaster retard mate.

  • @MakeSensePlz I think if you signed up with the genuine belief that joining the forces and not getting shot was guaranteed, the Marines would just direct you to a Rifle's regiment...

  • @BassDudeBear lol duh. i just think for this which is only a little commercial ok?

  • @ScaleMilitaryMovies They are the SBS

  • Comment removed

  • 0:48 I watched a real test of an M4 being submerged like that. when he pulls the trigger that rifle will blow up in his face.

  • lol dads army are more powerfull now than the brit army ,,today announced they are paying off 2000 troops ,,,these bastards in downing street have used yous ,,dont need you now ,,now youll be in civvy street ,try get a job and house .youll find theres 50 muslims first before yous in all queue's ..bring your guns home with yous and shoot those bastards in downing street,,yous guys arent gonna know what hit yous ,,immigrants are first in line for everything

  • AND do you really think we would have real tactics showing on here NOOOOOOOO of course not, this is and was filmed for promotion ONLY so stop with the IGNORANCE, GROW UP ALL OF YOU... if you want real watch the news or history channel, ok.. PROMOTIONAL look it up in the dictionary.. I hope this makes it clear to all you idiots who THINK they are the world experts on Armed Forces weapons and Tactics, my god this is just hilarious to see so many thick people..

  • @MAJORMANIC22

still one of the best vids of SF ever

  • The ignorance on this video is amazing, mrisniipe, do you really not know anything about Royal Marine Commandoes, of coures we use American weapons we use all sorts not just US ones christ sake this is amazing how all you armchair warriors think you know it all, FUCK OFF join up and see what is used yourself... so now to let all you KNOBS know this is a promotional video non live firing due to the safety aspects and was shot using REAL SOLDIERS not shooting as this was added as effects after OK.

  • @MAJORMANIC22 THE WORLD IS FULL OF PRICKS AND PC WARRIORS , JUST IGNORE THEM , TAKING TO THEM JUST GIVES THEM ATTENTION THEY DONT DESERVE .

  • @MAJORMANIC22 couldn't agree more! cheers, a Lt

  • lol its a bunch of guys with airsoft guns, RM'S standard weapon is British not a US M16 or M60 LMAO

  • Thats Defintely not real special forces :LL just a bunch of blokes form airsoft, look at the weapons and their skill at arms drills etc...

  • i think the music works on this video and what is the music called

  • Modern warriors with US equipment HAHA LOL

  • @karkuten Yeh we might take your equipment but isnt it better putting it to better use with real soilders not americans who are only going to friendly fire everyone anyway?

  • Its a bunch of airsofter walts, look at there drills and how they handle there so called weapons, also far too many different weapon systems

  • very odd mix of weapons

  • What movie is this from?

  • @Lyraic0 u r gay

  • jks

its from last of the Mohican's

    promentory

  • Ths is SAS or SBS.

  • @ThatEnglishKid010 its sbs it comes up during the vid

  • @A4ME1991 the sbs are the rm they are trained by them and once was them

  • @bingdingification The SBS aren't the real marines, they're were once completely manned by marines but they are now open to all areas of the British armed forces.

  • @ItsRMD *the royal marines.

  • @ThatEnglishKid010

Its a bunch of guys with fake guns pretending to be Marines. ^_^

  • you know what. i am just going to say this just to get every one pissed of. lets go irish special forces!!!! these guys are weak!!! they are gay ass brits!!!!!!!!!!!\ jkjkj

  • @likeaglove123 LOLOLOLOLOL I KNOW YOUR JOKING THTS WOT MAKES IT FUNNY :D

  • losers!

  • This isn't great representation of a typical SBS mission. It is very unlikely that they'd be ambushed like that, more likely to be doing the ambushing.

  • @heindrich1988 Seem's like you don't know anything!

  • @hom3R1000 wtf, I hardly made any great claims of expertise or outrageous statements. Why behave like this?

Is it not reasonable to argue that for a small and elite unit like the SBS. Military planners would be unlikely to throw these valuable soldiers unsupported into hostile territory seemingly not properly scouted out. Those SBS soldiers in the video were clearly ambushed and took at least 2 casualties. If this happened in real life, it would be considered a grave military mistake.

  • @hom3R1000 I don't need to be a soldier to make logic inferences. (Which incidentally, people seem to agree with).

  • @heindrich1988 I never even mentioned anything about you being a soldier or not.

  • @Crunk87GVK Yeah, doesn't take Einstein to work that out.

  • fake

  • @NielsShoe lol?

  • this is a so nice song

  • What is OPS?... Whats mean?, thanks and gooooodd video.

  • Don't show dead guys in recruiting videos unless it's the enemy.

  • inspiring

  • Comment removed

  • @liamag92 its the Royal Marine's SPEACIAL OPS bud (: not commando's

  • Comment removed

  • @liamag92 haha i was wondering the same as you at first i was thinking wtf for a while :L so you thinking about joining or anything?

  • Comment removed

  • search "british armed forces kick-ass" for an extremely morale boosting british armed forces video.

  • why has the commando at the start holding an american gun

  • @wrestlemadsam Why do the US army get trained by the SAS?

  • @SELECTARR cuz the SAS is a special trained army b the army as you may know britain got the best trained army in the world and navy but america strong and got more weapons and we just help there then to train your forces

  • @wrestlemadsam There's a lot of different weapons in that ad, including a FN FAL. Special Forces tend to have their pick of weapons depending on the mission. It could also be the Canadian version of the M4.

  • Comment removed

  • M4 in use in the RMC (SBS or not), or it's a L119?

  • @ghilliedu25 its SA80 we use in the british marines as standard issue,i joined in the days of the old SLR wen the transition was beginning with the SA80,it as ad to be revised over the yrs into wat it is today, ther are different weapons for different combat situations obviously but if u are asking about standard issue then SA80 it is

  • @100pru

You'd be a 84, 85 or 86 recruit? I'm a 79 but I remember having to give up my SLR for the SA80 in 86. Those were the days of boots weighing like wet bricks and 58 webbing which weighed like led when wet and webbing sores and shin splint. I remember when the USMC training came out, Christ it got real easy then, running in trainers ect. USMC ruined the Royals. We were fuckin hard bastards back in my time, because if you weren't you didn't last or you finshed up in Hunter.

  • @TheMarinemachine late 86 my friend, did my PRC in the summer then back 4 Basic Training(basic?still makes me laugh&cry wen i see it called that, lol) not good training in winter, the SA80 was just cummin in but we still used SLR's on the ranges&part of full fighting order for the yomps, wen like u said those boots wer like lead even b4 they got wet(the amount of blisters we ad to stitch thru, lol) hard bastards isnt the word, thats wen beastings wer beastings, only wore trainers in gym doin circuits

  • @TheMarinemachine i can remember gettin off the train outside at Lympstone, standing on platform, lookin at the estuary&thinkin thats a nice view,i was still scrubbing that mud out of my arse 20yrs lata, lol,iv scars under my chin 3" long from sniping up that hill after carry telegraph pole thru assault course, only to get in press up posistion head to head with your oppo who'd just got ther b4 u,then ad to knock each others arms away,my chin took a beatin till i got my 10th wind, lol, best times eva

  • @100pru

I'm suprised you managed to get off the train. The Drivers used to drive straight passed for a laugh and you had to get out and run up the tracks...bastards. Mind you I used to laugh at the recruits when saw them doing the same thing. Wonford Hospital. Me and a couple of mates managed to get through about thirty five student nurses. As soon as you mentioned you were a Royal they were all over you because they thought you could f*ck all night, well we could couldn't we lol?

  • Comment removed

  • @100pru

Yeah and hoggies and bananas to keep you going. Yeah, Pain is only temporary, failure lasts forever. You finished now?

  • @TheMarinemachine lol roger that,i went in being such a fussy eater(i can laff now as it sounds pathetic,a marine not liking fatty meat, but that soon ad to change, remember doin survival training&getting caught with a mars bar(hairy caterpillars wernt a fav, lol)gettin put on report&the worst beastings ever, haha,as u well no,even the best eater cudnt get enuf protein down em for wat we burnt off so i really struggled in that department for a while,im 41yrs old&done now,wat else but Bootneck 4 life

  • @100pru

What u doing now Royal? I went RMP and became a bodyguard. Pays bloody good..i.e £1,500 a day but the location...Iraq is piss poor. Give me a shout if you need assit next August, I'm looking to set up my own company.Need a few good men lol. I'm 49 and still able to kick ass. Daz, yep know Daz well. Bet if we meet we'll laugh because I've probably beasted you at some point, but where would you have been if I hadn't lol?

  • @TheMarinemachine i tried going into security&door work just to fill the void of adrenalin rushes&comradeship, but its nowhere near the same, besides i would've only got myself into trouble with tryin to watch the mouthy bigmen stay mouthy after a swift jab to their windpipe, lol,iv got my own building/conversion/kitchen company with my brother which is goin well, but if this economic decline carrys on i mite take you up on that assist, also if you hadnt beasted me it wudve been sum other bastard, lol

  • @TheMarinemachine quick question by doing the RMP CP course does that set you up with civvi recognised qualifications etc to do cp privately??

  • @freddiesnotdead

Well put it this way if you're in a room full of CPO's and you're the guy that is RMP trained, you'll get the job! Of that there is no doubt. I took a private course two years ago and sailed through. I took it for a couple of reasons, Counter Terrorism is constantly changing and secondly it's good to constantly refresh, makes your portfolio look good. If you're looking for a really good UK company look no further than Clearwater. :-)

  • @TheMarinemachine and those signs that used to be jotted about, with his arm or leg blown off, saying 400yrds to go,its only pain, lol, too rite it was only pain, made me what i am today&wouldnt change a thing, well i mite.i would've been glad of some of those light-weight boots back then, there was only 22 of us passed out from an initial 67,14 dropped out in the first 10 days&withered away as the days went by very slowly, haha, proudest day of my life&my familys passing out,we sure did earn that beret

  • @TheMarinemachine

You where at Lympstone in the summer 86 doing your PMC, then we've aleady met. My best mate was Paul Connell, killed in Norway. You'll have been in Thommo's care and Sgt McCullock would have been your arms instructor. You'd have been there when Prince Edward got his nose busted while boxing. Nice to meet an old school Royal!

  • @TheMarinemachine im sure my cousin was there wen your friend got killed,he joined up a year or so b4 me,called him Sime(simon)Davey, his twin(Daz) joined up a year or so after me,they were identical twins, sure r Sime was there wen it happened,i suppose we av to giv Edward a pat on the back 4 avin a little go even tho he cudnt hack it,lol

  • @Crunk87GVK

The M4 is one of the widely accepted weapons because of its greatness.

  • The SBS recruit from across the entire military, but the majority of SBS personnel are Royal Marines. This is due to the fact that the Royal Marines are the founders of the SBS, and arguably their first mission was Operation Frankton. The SBS and SAS selection is done together as they come under UKSF, but the final stages are done independently as they still have their differences. On a separate note, UKSF often use alternatives to the SA80 A2 as the alternative may better suit the task at hand.

  • rmc s dont use m4s wtf

  • @gazCROSSHAIR00 Who says, special parts of the royal marines do like the SBS, and the special assault forces which are for raiding ships and so on.

  • @Elitepoosniff yer thats mabey true i know sas use the m4 in some missions but wasnt sure about rm.

  • @gazCROSSHAIR00 SAS`s standard weapons are the C8, G3 and the M4A1, but they use other weapons to, SBS are the same apart from the under water weaponry and other sea based gun, the RMC`s standard gun is the SA80 but they units that are joint to RMC use MP5`s, M16`s and M4A1`s.

  • @Elitepoosniff id find that the sas also use mp5s

  • @gazCROSSHAIR00 yes they do on occasions when it is best suited!

  • @TheMortonnn

Thought it was the canadian rifle used now, considering the M4 kinda explodes when mixed with water.

  • @MitchofSmeg yeah but its modded for water.

  • this is like the ultimate marine video, this makes me want to join right now and fight along side my brothers

  • @MrNobodyGivesAFuck mate, their not marines

  • @WhoDaresWins164 the SBS (special boat service) is the navies version of the SAS and only the best MARINES are selected to join.

  • @MrNobodyGivesAFuck the SBS recruit from all over the british armed forces

  • @MrNobodyGivesAFuck you sign up you dont get picked, there isnt a list saying who has done more than any other man, if you think your tough enough and want more then you sign up.

  • 11 terrorist hates this video.

  • @topi85 its cuz there scared ... therreguna get therre asses kicked .. thumbs up if you agree

  • @FuZz99KentSouthh Ofcourse i agree :D

  • @ 3:16 is the m60E3 or (enhanced) w/ the better gas system ,m1913 picitiny rail ect.

  • think the tune is called the gael from last of the mohicans.

  • RMC definately dont use mp5's, m16, m4's, m60's, whatever the fuck that is at 3:16 or LMGs with a front foregrip.

  • @Jeronimo36 on sfsg tasks and sbs units do. sa80s and lsws are shit. but yes i doubt this wierd video is rmc's. actors acting as sas maybe.

  • Comment removed

  • RMC dont use M16's or m4's they use the SA8O

  • @rainbowplastic That's because this video also contains soldiers from the Special Boat Service, part of the UKSF; who equip themselves.

  • @rainbowplastic SBS DO

  • @queenshussars When fighting with Commonwealth forces its never for nothing at all. UK AUS US ALLIANCE. SAS and Commando's (not just Royal Marines here) have taken the brunt of most casualties so far in the SF community

  • The SBS are so underrated you have to pass the SAS selection process to get into the SBS, the only reason the SAS are so well known and looked up to is because of the iraninan embassy seige.

  • @BuffalloRider21 well you both the SAS and the SBS have the same selection process. you dont have to pass the SAS selection to sit the SBS selection. you sit the SBS selection. the reason the SAS are well known is that they are the world's best special force on which all other special forces are based. the green berrets, the SBS, the german special forces were all forged on the SAS.

  • the problem is that almost none of these can be purely royal marines. see theyre using sas and sbs weapons if they were royal marines they would use L85s or L86s. random thought

  • @bullpupfan8 well they'd use SA80's

  • @rainbowplastic sbs use whatever they want. usually american and hk

  • Nice vid mate :D SBS are the BEST!

  • The best fighting force in the world Per Mare Per Terram;

  • @SuperNutty23 By Land By Sea we go my friend,we go any fookin way,the winning way,Bootnecks 4 life,99.9% need not apply

  • @100pru

Per Mare Per Terram, By Sea By Land :-)

  • SBS! GET SOME!

  • muito bom, me faz recordar de velhos tempos, parabéns continuem assim, isso é pra quem tem sangue nos olhos, não é para fracos.

  • The SBS is the Special Boat Service, it's like the SAS which is the Special Air Service.

  • This is uber chad, but still good thou :)

  • @GoreTexTillEndEx As Chad as your Dad !!!!

  • this is a recruiting video?

  • @MrDirectorMan18 No, it isn't. It's a video about SBS made by a amateur film maker, special forces don't have recruiting videos.

  • @Sevenoneight7 hmm nicely done i like the music

  • dint know the g3 still about

  • @leosoheil some armies have the G3 as their main battle rifle... Pakistan for example

  • whats the song called

  • onlycadhla Tosser ! when did anyone other than the Brits wear P R Comms Sets ?, thats the radio communication gear on their heads,

    Fuckwit!

  • @keirfree since it was used by both the U.S and australian forces. I'm not going to get into a keyboard war with you, but firstly, if you think those are marines, you have no idea, and secondly, the are known as PRRs, not PR comms sets.

  • Ok the song is from "Last of the Mohicans" Film and its called "Promentory"

    Hope this helps

  • Cheers mate now i can dance away like a lepriocorn pot o gold he he he

  • What is the song called tell me before I die

  • Ok the song is from "Last of the Mohicans" Film and its called "Promentory"

    Hope this helps

  • Brits dont use the M4
