Very sad. One of those moments that make me glad we get to live out almost all of Ezio's life. We get to see all of his triumphs, and his failures. His up's and his down's. This death wasn't just sad, it made you feel sorry for Ezio specifically. Why? Because we've become attached to him. That's why in Revelations, when he meets Sofia, you become happy for him, you can tell that he just lights up whenever he sees her. She filled the hole that was left when Cristina was killed.

there is a common theme between Desmond, Ezio, and Altair that nobody has talked about.... . In Revelations, we see that Maria Thorpe, the love of Altair, is murdered and dies in his arms. In Brotherhood, Christina, the love of Ezio, is murdered and dies in his arms. at the end of Brotherhood, Lucy, the implied love of Desmond, is murdered by Desmond and dies in his arms. Coincidence?
