  • @RomulusRebirth A tsunami as of recently.

  • I WAS CHEAATING: MIKU MIIKUUU

    THEN MIKU COMES OUT...soo....

    I CHEAT MORE LOUD

i love World is mine :D

  • come on bring back janny cash

  • simply amazing

  • I know they tried a hide hologram of the Art of Life ( late guitarist from X-Japan and solo/Spread Beaver era), a few years back using a different technology, actually, a true holoraphic technology. It had some issues, but was damn close. I attribute the problems due to no complex real original recordings of hide However, these vocaloid concerts with Miku and company are as close to a hologram that you can get, but I think its more technically termed a 3d projection. search for hide hologram

  • Vocaloid 4 ever

I would go to this concert, too if they go on worldtour maybe some day

  • sure they have holograms in concerts but none for yugioh -_-

  • I would like to see this live hologram technology used to server other purposes like a virtual talk show where the host is animated or how about seeing a virtual Steve Jobs talking about new apple products ;)

P.S. Skip to page 7-9 in the comments section if you want to read some comments posted by a close minded guy who thinks metal is the pinnacle of the music world and dissing other music form such as at the process whilst trying to prove his manliness and how big his 8==D is. XD

  • She may be fake, but the audience's boners are all too real.

  • so tell me: how long until they replace Justin Beiber with a hologram?

  • This is awesome. If the future is holograms, then who knows? Other characters, not just Miku or the Gorillaz (who Also use this 3D holographic technology) can be brought to "life". Super Mario hologram anyone?

  • World is Mine, Miku=best singer ever.

  • screw america i'm going to japan

  • what is this song called?

  • @CHAAAaznable the song is called world is mine by hatsune miku

  • awesome :D

  • Miku does a better peformance than the gorillaz tho...

  • Completely crazy (not really in good way...) !

  • It's sad about the tsunami...

  • There is a lot of this kind of hlogram...

    Example :

    youtube.com/watch?v=YmSoLpzhqUk&feature=related

  • kyaaaaaahhhh!!!!! it's Miku!!!

  • She sounds terrible but the hologram is awesome... how do they do that...

  • @AKSevenT4 Actually that is if you compare it to a human singing. The reason being Vocaloids is not there to imitate human beings. They are a new voice, there are many songs written for Vocaloids that human cannot possibly sing, and they sound great.

In Japanese term this song was performed fairly well by a Vocaloid, but even if a real Japanese singer sing this song, it would sound weird to average westerners. Cultural differences.

  • I have to admit, it's pretty cool. Whoever does a TV show or movie with an apocalyptic like angle that happens to guest star her and make her interactive to the plights of the heroes is instantly going to have a fan following. I'm calling it now, mark my words. I've called such before, just like how no one realized what kind of big hit Burnout 3 was going to be.

  • plaka kaneis!!!! awesome!

  • @penyorfeas84 dev kaveis ;p

  • I actually keep forgetting this isn't real! So epic!

  • i think this is awesome, the only reason why i would dislike this video is out of pure jealousy towards the Japanese cuz we dont have this kinda technology yet.

  • this concert is freakin awesome! and why this vid has dislikes??..only morons with no sense of entertainment would dislike this...

  • Cool work..

  • Somehow it seems happy, the great technology advancement, and soon we will be able to touch and to feel these holograms like real. But in same time it seems somehow sad... We want to leave in dreams, and we building things, which will help us to make our dreams real, so we can forget this cruel reality... But it doesn't means that, this cruel reality will forget us...

  • @stalker8000 you mean to live in dreams..not to leave in dreams... i agree with you.. we have reached critical levels of irracional and the absurd..avoiding reality make us ...cowards?

  • Oh my gosh this is the coolest thing EVER!!!!! They did a great job on her hair moving natural!

  • was she cwalking?

  • I miss Japan more than ever!!

    Mikuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!

  • japan gets all the coolest things :D would love to go there oh wait nvm the destruction... :(

  • Fucking japanese people they are so cool and dont give a shit what other people say :D

  • I love that her arms get hooked in her ponytails and the movement is fluid when they slide down and release......

  • jaja los japoneses son unos lokillos me gusta la voz sii canta precioso :$ ojala conociera la mina que canta en verdad (L)

  • @KKuYYiXX eso es un programa, VOCALOID 2, no es una voz...

  • I love this song

  • @airgearbleachfan Hey don't cry buddy I was only commenting on the potential for this technology. I wasen't bashing your girlfriend. I guess I hit a soft spot with the geek thing lol!

  • Pokemon battle please!

  • *random guy runs up on stage and starts humping it*

  • OMG OMG

  • Meanwhile in Japan...

  • This is why the Japanese are cool

  • @VintageLewis you are SO right! plus with anime and manga. those make japan even cooler then it already i!

  • I liked the part where Japanese people are wierd!

  • i cant understand what shes saying....

  • I think I'm in love

  • this gave me goosebums

  • @Waceo Wow me too .. technology is fkn amazing!

  • Japan da bess

    THUMBS UP!

  • 日本日本日本。。。はすごい。 I want to go there as fast as possible ;).

  • vocaloid rocks!

  • they're actually singing along. xD

  • so when they are going to make a hologram concert hentai show?

  • @arthas872 NOT SOON ENOUGH!!!

  • @arthas872 LOL I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING

  • Miku, stop being such a diva... Move over and let Kaito or Gumi or Luka sing.

  • If I took my clothes off for money id be a little threatened by this lol!! the future looks bright for bored males with no life :)

  • Not sure how I cam across this but, very interesting!!!! Crazy!!!!

  • some wierd kid posted this on my facebook?? and im like WTF?? really??! a hologram anime concert?? words cannot desicribe how STUPID this is, wanna see some REALL stuff, look up cyromancer by defiler!

  • yay!!! when anime comes to life!

  • history...unfolds now...and now they are making it so you can touch them......this is making history now

  • Okay.. i could understand paying MAYBE $20 for that, but if you payed more, you're nuts!

  • on va enfin voir bébé lili en concert YEAH!!!

  • look at all those horny virgin Japanese men. to think they thought they could take on AMERICA!

  • is everyone sitting...? that's gay.

  • Japanese people are really fascinating. I'm not a fan of vocaloid but I have great respect for what I see here. They are proud of their culture and are not afraid to show it.

  • some day it can be like star wars you can you see your grandma's whole body instead of your face on skye or other stuff

  • Ups: more employement=more help +plus tax payers(taking about animators and the people behind), smooth presentation.

Downs:still missing the essence of a real band or singer, quite unconvincing

Conclusion: Its cool. but i dont really feel the song because i didnt see the real artist.

  • @Jarekthegamingdragon ...says the Ritalin-junkie who plays with plastic guns. Don't throw stones when you live in a glass house, mang. Grow up.

  • @Kerberoz01 LOL! for 1. I don't have ADD or need any meds for any sort of condition and 2. airsoft isn't "playing with fake guns" It's called a sport and works the same way as paintball. You've obviously never seen any real airsoft guns if you think of them as plastic toys. The military and law enforcement wouldn't train with them if that was the case. Final point, your comment had absolutely NOTHING to do with my comment. Stop watching so much anime fag.

  • @Jarekthegamingdragon Entertainment is one of the largest industries out there. Not too many people must think it's crap since it has sold more records than justin beiber in america. And to top it off a pedo likes children. If you ask me the model of anime character shown here is a full grown adult. And since when did liking a female drawn character make a person a fag? Seems to me you don't know the definitions of half the words you are saying.

  • @playswithknives9001 LOL yea Jpop sells well over there, and justin beiber sells well here so you're going to tell me that means they're good right? I'll just laugh at you. Sales mean jack shit. It's all about marketing. In 5 years you'll forget about both of these bands. How ever, bands like megadeth and black sabbath will still be remembered. Oh, also. Yea, full adult. That sure means a lot. You design a kid and say she's 18. Welcome to Japan.

  • @Jarekthegamingdragon Black Sabbeth and megadeath are garbage. If you don't like this type of music don't listen to it. I may not like Justin Beiber but I can tell you he can sing a hell of a lot better than me and that's respectable. Go play your rockband.

  • @playswithknives9001 LMAO! Black sabbath is garbage? The amount of talent it takes to write and play that style of music is a SHIT TON more than it takes to write pop. Also, I hate rock band. I have this thing, it's called A REAL GUITAR. Maybe you should learn how to play then you'd realize how much garbage this shit is.

  • @Jarekthegamingdragon I used to have a Schecter but times got tough and I had to sell it. Who said I didn't listen to metal? Hell if anything I listen to metal more than any other genra. Music isn't easy to make. And I try to appreciate all music that is made. Some things come across that are just pure pointless and doesn't make sense (like most of todays hip hop). Writting pop isn't as easy as it seems, I know I can't write it worth shit.

  • @playswithknives9001 LOL yea fuckin right. You're either one of the nu metal idiots or you're not into metal if you say black sabbath sucks. Black sabbath is the ORIGINS of metal.

  • @Jarekthegamingdragon What ever you say bro

  • @Jarekthegamingdragon

    Origins aren't always the best.

  • @Jarekthegamingdragon Tell his ass! lol (im not getting involved) :)

  • @playswithknives9001 Don't even bother arguing with the mental 12-year-old. I doubt he even realizes that it's basically a musical instrument and can be used for any genre.

and I'm at a loss as to where "pedo" comes from when it's not the least bit provocative.

  • @Kerberoz01 I find it funny to be honest.

  • @Jarekthegamingdragon People like you make me sick, they like something different to you so you hit them with petty insults. Animé might not be your thing, fair enough. You don't like this style of music, but don't rage on the internet and make yourself look like a sad 12 year old who's insecure about their sexuality. She's sixteen, the "singer" so if someone does findt that "turns them on" it is by no means paedophilia. You should just enjoy doing the things you like, leave others out of it.

  • @Linkrules7 HAHAHAH! I have no problem with people being different. Have you fucking seen any of my videos? Also, MORE LOL! 16 IS UNDERAGE FUCKTARD! THAT'S PEDOPHILIA!

  • @Jarekthegamingdragon 16 is not under-age in Japan, it's 13, and in many places in america it is between 16 and 18, where I live it is 16 so sorry for any confusion. But you are hating on someone else's culture and that is not right. You don't have to enjoy it, but at least accept it is a part of their culture, and you have no right to hate on that and call them faggots and paedophiles for it.

  • Horrible music and wtf?

  • wow!

  • 私はこれが好き

  • you guys wont probibly wont get any wors of the science behind this. but to make it a bit easyer is that they had done a few tricks with the light and project is on a three dimensianal scale.

  • japan is weird. srsly. watch a consert that isnt even real. singing is even made on a computer.... i like anime but this goes too far.

  • @kabelfjernsyn LOL!! I agree

  • @kabelfjernsyn Ever heard of Gorillaz?

  • @johanhagberg1

look how they all cheer to the hologram while ignoring the guitar guy....

  • @kabelfjernsyn please, anime is huge in japan so why not a holographic concert with anime characters singing, its cool and fun and to entertain so what if isn't real, i can see it thats real enough for me, plus, your only seeing the beginning of holographic technology and get use to it cause you gonna see more and more of it, welcome to the future

  • Apparently there are 12 ppl out there that likes to kick puppies more than hologram Vocaloid concerts.

  • japan is weird...

  • the only reason im watching this is because i am japenease

  • @potter100harry thats like me saying the only reason I listen to Michael Jackson is because I am white. I like to listen to him because he is THE king of pop. If that's really the reason why you are watching it, then don't tell us.

  • Ah, i love Hatsune Miku, can't wait till the next concert in America, i know the next concert is in toyko in spring.

  • Universal Studios Orlando uses the same effects in one of their shows/attractions "Disaster!: A Major Motion Picture Ride...Starring You!" with a hologram of Christopher Walken. Sadly, he does not sing... or dance.

  • @nightcityrandsom and harry potter

  • spera q eu melhoro isso e vcs podem kurti

  • Creepy as hell...

  • Weeeeeirrddddddd....

  • Miku Hatsune will rule da whole world soon! :D

  • they're actualy projecting onto the vapour particles in the air on the stage.

    it's freakin' kool!

  • wait what? is that seriously a projection? O_o never saw something that real, didn't notice it wasn't an actual person in some kind of suit or something until you said it XD

  • Dear God... The Uncanny Valley!

  • @fjl2x2 eh, this is safely to the left of the uncanny valley. look up "image metrics emily" if you want to see uncanny valley

  • @Kerberoz01 Nonetheless, something about the way she moves doesn't sit right with me.

  • Sorry boys :/ It was a projected animation on a clear screen

  • It's not a true hologram. It's a special screen set a a angle with a projector that is computer controlled to project a different angles. The angle makes it so the screen is not too obvious. Also the "voice" is computer generated using samplings form human voices.

  • @TheRavan1234 But impressive none the less! =)

  • This is not a true hologram. It's more like a teleprompter since it uses a special screen at a angle combined with a projector that projects a image onto the screen. Also the voice is computer generated using multiple samplings from human voices.

  • i want a glowing leek D:

  • Reading through these comments, I want to slam my face into the keyboard. Vocaloid2 is a computer program. It's a musical instrument. Crypton Future Media, from where Miku's voice came from, is a company that decided to give her a "look." She is nothing more than a musical instrument, like a keyboard. The concert is because people make good songs with the instrument, and other people want to hear them blasted on loud speakers. So you people that think it's weird keep in mind: Musical instrument.

  • @ShiShintai reading your comment makes me want to slam my face into my keyboard

  • @seppomuppit It's the perfect place for it. 8D

  • not hologram

    not hologram

    not hologram

  • @bluewater0701 Well yes is it a hologram. Or do you belive a anime figur is real?

  • Does anyone know what city the concert was held?

  • Saw this in OMG-facts, came to watch it , amazed by it ;)

  • unvelievable

  • These are vocaloids...

  • this actually really catchy

  • you really lack of tolerance for other cultures

  • @cambohoo16 Xenophobic, much?

  • @cambohoo16 They should be more adult like!. Just like you.

  • @Legenda91 Did... Did you just use the words "gay ass" and "hologram" in the same sentence?
