The extremely well-written dialogue and superb voice acting in the Kotor-series are easily among, if not the best ever in video games. @Usul573 Well it does look bad, I'm downloading the game right now because I have it on the first xbox and it doesn't work anymore so I'll see soon how does it really look. Graphics aren't basically important, but on the other hand they are vital. Graphics need to be good so the game looks realistic and feels like a virtual world. If it looks like a lego-world and the animation is like a 1910s robots dancing, then it feels stupid and not real. Like 8-bit music compared to symphony orchestra.

PS1 and N64 games just look BAD now in comparison to current stuff, PS2/GC/Xbox games can still look fairly ok I think. It doesn't support widescreen but I think you can edit the file to do widescreen with a patch.

@Usul573 I just installed the game and started playing, the graphics aren't really that bad. I don't think the game supports widescreen but my monitor isn't even widescreen :P I'm gonna guy a new one in few months just for the games coming in the fall like Battlefield 3 and Elden scrolls V.

@Villex93 in many ways the infinity engine games e.g. Baldur's Gate 2, Planescape Torment hold up much better graphically. the hand drawn art style doesnt really age. As brilliant as KOTOR is, these two are also the only Bioware/Black Isle games I would say are better. both masterpieces, especially planescape.
