A fantastic series. I think perhaps they could get Henning involved in the story again (I would not accept another game without her), and I think a replacement for Jay may be found if carefully chosen.

But otherwise it would be perilously easy to botch up a sequel. Although if they're going to further the series I think it should be done sooner rather than later before any more voice actors are lost...

go suggest things for the new game series, talk about it, add your own opinion everything counts.

No, sadly. Crystal Dynamics, the development company is now a subsidiary of Square Enix along with Eidos. In addition to that, lead designer / writer Amy Hennig is now part of Naughty Dog. Sadly there will probably never be another Legacy of Kain installment.

Except for the last game... they cut out the high jump & 1st person aim, and it seemed like they rushed for an ending that I strongly disliked, a lot for that reason.

if they do make another i think they should team with hedio kojima i think he could put some interesting stuff in the game and his team has some of the best graphics engines... and I also think they should keep Raziel as the main, not only cus i like him more than Kain but because hes a completely original character... you see so many people try and use his design in there games, it would be nice to see the graphics on the ps3... but thats my opinion

there is a guy who does a great tony jay impression. check the intro scenes in world of warcraft and compare the narration. they brought a different voice actor for the expansion pack. you actually can't notice a difference.

How would they keep Raziel as the main character? He allowed his soul to get sucked into the Reaver Blade in Defiance so Kain could see and defeat the Elder God.

in a way im glad they arent making a new LOK cus the original team is gone and it would probably end up sucking really bad unless silicon knights buys the rights back or something it owuld be cool if they started the frnachise over again to see in what direction they would have taken it. because if Eidos hadnt bought the right Soul Reaver and all the other games wouldnt exist right now and it would be a completely different story. i think that would be interesting.

Also, perhaps the next LoK game could be like a remake of the old Blood Omen, slightly altered to incorporate the altered timeline created in the latter games. And at the end, where Kain is faced with the choice between restoring the Pillars and refusing the sacrifice, old Kain appears, and informs his former self of a third option...

hm nope i dont agree with that.Blood omen did finnishd in bo2.Thats the story when we can play only with kain.This is Soulreaver because kain and raziel fights for own rights Kain and Raziel but you know the end of Raziel.Now i hope they will create last of it.Because mobius is dead.All we want now to know is it balance will be restored or kain will be arogant and live with hes sword and create again raziel and hes brothers and create a circle of soulreavers(1,2,defiance and i hope 4)

This was a great series. Too bad they'll most likely never make another game. After the departure of head writer Amy Hennig and the death of voice actor Tony Jay, those are two very hard roles to fill. Probably irreplaceable I'd say.

One of the BEST game series if not the best, deep story line, like bottom of the ocean floor deep, EPIC. Great music and overall feel when playing. I liked the gameplay as well, once you get the hang of the controls (especially in defiance). Perfect 10/10 score!
