If you visit Alaska and have the time and the weather is nice, make sure you visit Talkeetna and take a flight-seeing tour. The two main flight-seeing options are "Talkeetna Air Taxi" and "K2". Both are good. K2 seems to cater to the cruise lines and, as such seems to be more crowded. The folks at Talkeetna Air Taxi are very nice and helpful.
