@hitube16 It's an urdu word I believe and listening to Jeetendra's interview it sounds like it was called karvaan (spelled caravan in the roman script). Caravan is just another borrowed word in English.

Jeetedra was also one of the few Hindu actors to make it into the film industry who was not of the Khatri caste (Khanna, Dutt, Nath, Kapoor, etc.). So, it was a major achievement for him. The Khatri caste was a tight nit community that excluded many male actors -- Muslims of course had already made in roads.
