The only problem i have with what you said in this entire video is that soldiers provide our freedom of speech. I myself am an infantryman in the US Army, and my three older brothers are as well. Soldiers dont provide freedom of speech, its a god given rite from birth. As a soldier I feel that it is not my duty to defend our freedom of speech because we already have it, I feel that it is my duty as a soldier restore i talong with all other basic huiman rights to those who dont have them.

Anyone who said something stupid like you're fat (which you are not), is an ignorant bastard. Regardless of whether or not someone agrees with the war or not, at the very least respect the soldiers' who are willing to die for this country. Less than 1% of the people are. They do exactly what our cops, firefighters, paramedics, etc do, please pay your respect as they would to you.

I fully support you! I too am an Army soldier and I thank you for your support and agree with a lot of what you said. Anyone who said something stupid like you're fat (which you are not), is an ignorant bastard. Regardless of whether or not someone agrees with the war or not, at the very least respect the soldiers' who are willing to die for this country. Less than 1% of the people are. They do exactly what our cops, firefighters, paramedics, etc do, please pay your respect as they would to you.

Something people don't understand about the military are the reasons we join. For some it is benefits, some for glory, or to serve their country, or because they think it's the right thing to do. Some of us join because it's part of our blood. I come from the oldest military family in the country; we've served in every conflict, had the first commissioned officer, and formed the first militia, from which the National Guard was born. There are many other families with military traditions as well

I've been in 7 years, but thanks to a back injury and luck of the draw, have never deployed. I actually go out of my way NOT to wear my uniform in public, because I feel bad when people come thank me for my service. I've done nothing but support my brethren while they go off to war, and I take no pride in that...
