amazing animal, it is believed that no other land animal has a chance against a polar bear in a fight, sure no other CARNIVORE can match the PB's strength, but how abot African Elephants or White Rhinos, maybe they could have a chance against the immense strength

Fully grown walruses are more than capable of doing serious and sometimes fatal damage to PB's with their massive tusks. Nothing's certain in nature, there are plenty of animals that could do these animals damage.

What a beautiful video I love polar bears I have been to Svalbard but sadly didnt see one there was a couple of clsoe encounters when one was in the area as we were warned by sirens but I didnt see it anyway awesome video thanks for the amazing posting.

Hello there. Thanks for your interest. I take it is more on the bears than on the ice their walking on. But I think that the polar bears will make it, and so will we, but is's a matter of how bad it's going to get before we start driving/flying/etc. And yes it's going to take a while for the ice cover to grow back too ...
