1) SW conquered the whole galaxy and other small nearby galaxies

2) In SW there were huge factions that controlled all the galaxie, imagine the power, size and technology that it takes.

3) SW has the tech to build the death star.

4)They have discovered the force..

On the other hand...

1) Halo still uses bullets.

2) Only a few hundred solar systems are involved

3) Halo got most of it's technology ideas from SW and ST.

4)Halo is just a game series!

You are probably confused from highschool when they taugh you in physics that for every action there's a reaction. The vector of force is clearly directed away from the gun. A bullet will fire in space also because of the O2 already inside the catirage.
