@Noogai45 stealth general is a bitch to fight, it almost impossible to fight him, he can simply build an supply stash hidden somewhere and you will never win the game.

@montrastic its hard AI what we talking about. and this is 8 players map, do how long do it takes to search for the whole map? alexander only have scout drone, spy drone, and satelite scan to search the map, stealth is not detected even you use inteligence. they can use GPS scrambler. except if you use airforce, you can spam king raptors with full speed across the map.

First of all Alexander has more than just the scout drone and the spy drone,

the pathfinder also detects stealth and an other unit.

But most importantly all usa factions can equip all their vehicles with a spy drone which detects stealth and if you equip a rather large humvee army with it you can easily detect all the stealth buildings on a map.

Finaly you should just use your head and think where the gla has positioned one of their buildings. easy

an easier way of doing this would be box your self in with defence (pretty much like you did) but build a shit load of particle cannons and 2500 a pop as sw gen, jobs a gudden

I can do 1v4 on the 1v5 map with various generals and that map is even better for you so yeah.(but it cant be used in 1v7)

WTF NO GLA it means GLA is a too hard enemy

1. they have sneak attack

2.tunnels that teleport troops to antoher tunnel

3.they have toxic,stealth and then demolition

4.they can do rush tactics

Go back to the start of the video dumbass. GLA, GLA toxin general - all right there.

If you knew anything about Generals you'd know that the other players need to get some damage/kills in before they even get Generals' promotions. Hence why you don't see sneak attacks or ambushes.

I love how people all try to be clever and then get it so wrong :)

Yes that's true. My computer can comfortably run games that are 6-7 years newer and yet it falls over far too easily. I would LOVE to have an all out anti-GLA slaughterfest (And post it especially for bukm2001 since he loves GLA so much) but any time I put more than 4 in the game will crash.

@Ratznium This is generals problem. I have quadcore with 4gb and 260gtx 216. And still, every time I play against more than 5 (6 total), random freezing happen at some points. This is definitely engine limitation.

Non-sarcastically, I really would like to see a video of it. I kinda have this system down pat. Starting out is generally the same steps initially, because whenever I discover a faster or more efficient series of steps I start doing it that way. I have variations depending on who's right next door though. (Eg. More avengers if it's USA).

i have to say SW general is the best for this, but i've once succeeded it with my favourite - airforce general. Superweapons were taken down by auroras, most of enemy was destroyed by king raptors, which are my favourite units in the game :)

Vanilla Generals is a shit tonne easier to beat 7 teamed hard computers. The upped the AI in Zero Hour and the maps I used to routinely dominate became impossible.

You can get new backgrounds and even scenes, they're called "shell maps". You'll be able to grab a few from planetcnc or something like that.

I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to say, but my best guess is you ask how to select a building after clicking a dozer.

In that case it's just a matter of using keyboard shortcuts. Eg. Click dozer and press F for an airfield.

I kind of have a hard time with Generals' new way of construction, I mean, having to click a certain building to create a certain unit or something, just kind of confusing. I'm used to being able to click on a tab on the right to construct a building, and not clicking the Construction Dozer and having him to drive over to a place to make a building, though I like the new building advantages. Being able to create multiple buildings at once, and different infantry, and vehicles at once.

The only problem with that is getting the superweapon general in there. If that happens the game is lost, as per the original description.

And read the description. 10k start is too tedious, and not fun.

Oh and another thing. I chose the locations because otherwise they do something stupid and mass spawn, causing the game to crash. It can work, but eg. if I have tanks china in the left upper middle spot, they all get stuck at the halfway point. Game slows/crashes.

Although, if it doesn't crash - you can nuke a HUGE pile of stuck units and it indeed awesome.
