  • wow, just two pieces of paper torn from a legal pad?? Where are his teleprompters?

  • @witchratt wait, my mistake. It must be that he needs more "experience"

  • Excellent video. Excellent points. I can only hope he runs for President someday.

  • This man is a class warrior, and he ain't fighting for Main Street, let alone the poor. Just follow the money. Look at who consistently gives him the most: among his largest donors are Wall Street firms and the health care industry. That grassroots talk is just PR. We, the People, need to wake the fuck up.

  • We should not redistribute wealth.........except when it comes to medicaid, my mom is sick and needs help from the goverment.........15% of the danish men from the bottom fith of society make it to the top fith of society, 5% of american men from the bottom fith of society makes it to the top fith, just the numbers......btw income taxes in denmark is about 45-50% and education and healthcare is free, just saying

  • @laugelarsen What is the reference for your numbers? Im just saying.

  • Amen to this!!

  • Bravo Senator. I wish you a successful future. I feel a sense of truthfulness long missing in the Government for a long time. I agree with you on every issue. God Bless you and the USA.

  • THIS IS THE MAN WHO SHOULD BE RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT - A MUST-MUST SEE!

THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT EMAILS I HAVE SEEN.

THIS MESSAGE IS FOR ALL AMERICANS; PARENTS, SHARE THIS WITH YOUR KIDS.

PLEASE, PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO SIT AND LISTEN TO WHAT WILL FIX OUR COUNTRY!

This is a guy who knows what is wrong with Washington.

May God help him convince all those around him!!

  • Obama inherited gas that was $1.85 a gal. and now, because of his policies, it has more than doubled.

  • @surfstomp youre insane if you think the president has any control over gas prices.

  • OUTSTANDING !!!! Proud to say I voted for you !!!! I only hope you run for President one day!

  • @nholley73 How about now?!

  • The only thing that will put trust back in the minds of the American people is if justice is served upon the people that looted this country. All that stuff he said means squat if there is no trust.

Otherwise it sounds great. But you try and veer the attention away from accountability you can bet on another plundering. And you put those same fucktards back in office there will be no difference.

  • yeah, the people "getting to the top" these days are the sleaze bags who are just exploiting people in one way or another. Meanwhile, the respectable lower middle-class person has to live in the dumps among the criminals. I'd love to see every person in this country cancel their cable TV, delete facebook, and buy NOTHING but necessities for the next six months, that includes not buying ANY junk food. That would probably be enough to crash a few industries.

  • @mrfrog44 That is not true - they have money to pay lawyers, but they have also worked for it. This country gives us all the opportunity to make it big. You just need to have initiative and brains. Some don't have that!

  • @mrfrog44 How would crashing industies help current workers and workers looking for jobs?

  • @sunseeking47 Industries.

  • Very impressive public speaker. Needs a bit more experience in office but hopefully he will run for Pres. before political corruption gets its grubby little hands on him.

  • @1234wafff My thoughts exactly

  • I'm queer for this guy! Damn, why isn't he running for President?

  • Senator Marco Rubio speaks the truth. His priorites are right and his solutions are adequate. Rubio he tells us what the debt is doing to us and he tells us how to get out of it -- by growing the economy so it earns debt-paying power, buying power and hiring power. Of there solutions two don't work: 1) "Austrian" liquidation and austerity, 2) increased taxation. What can save us is government thin-air money that goes debt-free to households -- all economic growth comes from demand. -Lower Mid

  • Brilliant! This could equally apply to Australia, the UK, etc. Full of commonsense, which unfortunately is not so common anymore.

  • Why not just state it the way it is. Do away with Federal Reserve. Take power away from the banks. Crooks and murderers.

  • wow!!! if only we could have politicians like marco.

  • I work manufacturing for 3 years. The full-timers (10-15+ years exp) complained about how our higher-ups ran the company like idiots and expected the workers to pick up the slack. The company accepted a job to make a part that we hadn't made in years. Didn't have an area set up to create it and the pieces were stored offsite 30 mins away. They told us to produce 1200 in 24 hours. Which was impossible, they knew was impossible but wanted the client and blamed the workers when it wasn't on-time.

  • My point is, many of those "haves" "higher-ups" "1%" whatever you want to call them, have and always will take advantage of those under-them.

Only a naive child thinks that "all I have to do is work hard and do my best and I will succeed"

  • @cybersamur4i - I have to disagree with your second statement. I've always taken the stance of "I must work hard and do my best and I will succeed." And quite frankly, I have been successful to my standards. I grew up with nothing, but I worked hard, and now make a decent living at $42k a year. I've now been able to start side projects to help earn extra income, and it's all due to hard work. If I didn't have this mindset, I would not be where I am today.

  • @bobertroberts9 I understand where you are coming from. But I've seen many workers (all temps), hard workers that do the job and do it well, passed over for a full-time position just because the someone close to management doesn't like them. I've seen higher-ups give out bigger raises to workers who are basically their drinking buddies.

My experience has taught me it's "who you know" is more important than what your know or how hard you work.

  • @cybersamur4i - fair comment. I guess I'm one of the lucky one's to work for people that reward hard work as opposed to friendship.

  • He has to be put in for VP and do speeches like this and drive for the change he laid out

  • 80% of millionares do not come from a wealthy family. Marco Rubio certainly did not. He is right that in America you can come from any background and work you way up the ladder. But the key WORD in that is you have to WORK. Most of the wealthy are mature citizens that have been working hard for many years. If you are a young person, you cannot expect to have the salary or wealth of older citizen. You have to WORK FOR IT.

  • @sunseeking47 "80% of millionares do not come from a wealthy family."

A statistic I made up for the sake of my argument.

  • @ScoopsHaagendaz I looked this statistic up but you will not believe my source since it is conservative so I challege you to look into it and also use your common sense. It only takes around $350,000 to be in the top 1%. This number includes doctors, lawyers, small business owners and other professionals. You don't have to come from money to achieve, you just have to prepare yourself for the workforce and work hard. Look into the backgrounds of top earners. I think you will be surprised.

  • @sunseeking47 "you will not believe my source since it is conservative"

You're right. I don't normally believe biased sources no matter what side they come from.

Marco Rubio. A politician who is "troubled" by rhetoric? Now I've seen everything.

  • @ScoopsHaagendaz First you call me a liar and then you call all conservatives liars. Name calling not a good debate tactic. I see you do not want the truth to get in the way of your liberal idiology. I have some anecdotal evidence for you from a 1%er. My husband is a first generation college student. He worked to pay for part of his college expenses. He went to his small hometown college and he chose a major that has high employment rates and studied very hard. TBC

  • He started at the bottom of the business world and has been WORKING his way up for close to 27 years. He generally works on weekdays from about 7AM to 9PM with short breaks for lunch and dinner. I would guess he averages 8 hours a day on the week ends and sometimes more. He travels a lot which means he is mostly absent from our lives. We do not have a social life because he is either working or too tired. I am not complaining because that is the trade off you make.

  • @sunseeking47 @sunseeking47 Yes I called you a liar, but don't remember calling out ALL conservatives. Taking information from a biased source isn't lying per say, but it's certainly not a good idea.

See this is why I love politics. I disagree with you or whichever political snake-oil salesman you hold dear and that means I MUST be from the "Other Camp." It's a need jerk reaction and that's pretty sad.

I don't have a problem if you are conservative or liberal. tbc

  • @Sunseeking47 I have a problem when some charlatan starts claiming that he knows how to solve all the woes of this country. As if it's an easy fix. The haves and soon-to-haves is a stupid idea. You can't have a country in which everyone is prosperous. The only reason he's saying it, is to make it seem like it's YOUR fault if you're not successful. And I have a problem with that.

  • @ScoopsHaagendaz So tell me where you sit politically? What do you consider to be UNBIASED sources? The Public School System? Secondary Education? CNN? The NYT? Which in general, are liberal institutions. I agree that there are people who have gotten a bad break in life but that is why we have safety nets which should only be used for as long as necessary. In general, if you make smart choices and work hard in this country, you will achieve. Do you believe effort does not affect outcomes?

  • @sunseeking47 Why should I tell you my political stance? People these days only use it as a reason to invalidate the opinion of others. Look at your previous post. I simply disagreed with you and you began spouting off sources you believe I utilize and how "liberal" they are. People like you need help. I believe effort is only an ingredient to success. But unfortunately it's usually who you know, not what you're capable of that determines success.

  • @ScoopsHaagendaz Just like you did to me! Do you think your sources are unbiased? Just admit you are a liberal. Are you embarrassed by it? It is not all about who you know. That is why people in American move in and out of economic classes. What connections did my husband have? What connections did Marco Rubio have? I feel sorry for you and anyone with your attitude because it is self defeating. It leads people to not even try to achieve and then blame the system for their lack of success.

  • @sunseeking47 In order for someone to succeed, someone else must fail. For someone to be first, another must be last. Rubio believes that it's possible for everyone to succeed, which it's not. It's not self-defeating. It's fact. That's how the world works. I've seen co-workers passed up for promotions while others were elevated to better positions. Those given opportunities were close "acquaintances" of the ones who had power to promote them. Proving that effort isn't everything.

  • @sunseeking47 I don't know your husband, I only speak from my own personal experiences. But if you believe that Rubio got to where he is today without some connections, that's pretty naive.

  • @ScoopsHaagendaz You are the one who is not debating points. So far all you have done is called me a liar, said conservative websites unreliable, called Rubio an idiot and freaked out because I wanted to know where you are coming from politically and said you have been passed over for promotions.Just because you did not vote for Obama, doesn't mean you are not a liberal. For all I know, you did not vote at all. Asking you where you sit politically is not an attack but calling someone a liar is.

  • @ScoopsHaagendaz You are the one who is naive if you think we can ALL JUST GET ALONG. Conservatives and Liberals have a entirely different ideas about how to solve problems. That is why we have gridlock in congress. Conservatives believe in the power of the individual and liberals believe in the power of the government which is the biggest monopoly in the country. I have never understood how the same people who say a business monopoly is bad, think a government monopoly is a great thing.

  • @ScoopsHaagendaz Since Rubio comes from a working class background, will you let me know who his powerful connections are? He may know a lot of powerful people now but he did not start out that way. I never said that life is perfectly fair. Didn't your parents ever tell you that. Now get over it and do the best you can. People are not robots so every decision they make will be subjective. For example, short men make less than tall men but they will be better off not focusing on that.

  • @ScoopsHaagendaz Rubio did not say everyone would be filthy rich. You don't have to be to live a good life. Most people who work hard in this country move up the economic ladder and most poor people in this country live better than the middle class in Europe. That is because we have a system that values hard work, which in turn creates wealth and jobs for others. We should be focused on growing the economy not trying to punish the job creators. They won't create jobs if there is no incentive.

  • @sunseeking47 I said Rubio was an idiot which was my opinion. You were the one who started throwing around political camps. "He must think this way because he's a liberal!" "Oooh he won't admit it cause he's ashamed." Shocker, I didn't vote for Obama. @_@ omg! This is why you need help. Someone who attacks the person making the argument rather than arguing the points is so entrenched in their political party they've stopped questioning and thinking for themselves.

  • @ScoopsHaagendaz What kind of help do you think I need? Do you think I need to be reeducated to your point of view? They tried that in communist countries and it is not such a good thing. You think I am cold harded just because I believe you can achieve in America, no matter your background. How EVIL of me. For your information, conservatives give more money to charity than liberals do. That is because conservatives believe it is their PERSONAL responsibility to help others.

  • The haves and soon to have NOTHING if we listen to Idiots like this guy!!!

  • @tiasbear Like idiots like you that say this kind of things with zero background. What an easy thing to do. Why don't you make your point and try to convince me about wathever you think? BTW, I really like your very intelligent coments like "Obama is cool!"

  • HOW DO WE, THE PEOPLE, GET THIS MAN TO BE NOMINATED FOR THE REPUBLICAN PARTY WHEN THE WHEELS ARE ALREADY IN MOTION? HE WOULD SEEM TO BE THE ONLY HOPE TO KNOCK OBAMA OUT ON HIS ASS.

  • Zapppo = IMPOLITE_ALLCAPS_GUY

  • How did he give this speech with a straight face.

  • "Haves and Soon to Haves".....that is too funny!! We are really a nation of Haves and Hope To Haves!!

  • Under Capitalism, there will always be haves and have nots. It's extremely ignorant to think otherwise.

  • Work hard play by the rules and BE FUCKING VERY DAMN LUCKY OR BORN IN THE RIGHT FAMILY REALLY FREAKING HELPs. SCUM BAGS.

  • Haves and soon to haves LOL HA HA HA HA HA LOL HA HAHA HAHAHA. ASSHOLE GET BACK TO THE GYM SCUM BAG some of us are happy to have a lunch to eat much less get to the gym.

  • By far, the greatest speech to date from an awesome future leader!!!

  • @chwhite1092 I remember Rubio campaigning in sports restaurants & bars to groups of about 15-30 people touting the Tea Party message. Now he has become "One of them" by voting for NDAA, The Patriot Act & other Anti-American-US Constitution Acts of Treason. He says one thing and does another. He acts & votes like a socialist control freak, corporate welfare bailout big gov contract to weapon manufacturers RINO.

Actions DO speak louder than words, IF YOU ARE LISTENING to his ACTIONS.

  • this guy is a fucking idiot!! a nation of haves and soon to haves?? lmao half you idiots that support this assholes are have nots......i mean soon to haves!! lol how many people on here are CEO's lmao

  • Welcome the true spirit of the USA founding fathers and the refreshing initial language of proper social and economic liberalism. This guy appears to be representing the only acceptable USA's inner strength that potentially could assist to provoke in the real world the development of worldwide globalization of cooperativism amongst people and nations. Let´s hope in the future this young politician don't get absorbed into the politics of the 1% and/or into the financier's team.

  • I like what he has to say and the fact that he has the ability and brains to say it! God bless America.

  • RUBIO VOTED FOR THE NDAA BILL.

  • "We are a nation of haves and soon to haves". <-- Absolute dishonesty. If history has shown us anything, it has show us this. THE WORLD is a place of haves and have nots. The only way to go from a "have not" to a "have" is to have a great idea or a great marriage. OR sadly as many get ahead...thru dishonesty. Like this speech.

  • @dreyestud123 people born into poverty in this country can be rich and have done so because of our system! a great idea or marriage? how about hard work and smarts? you either aren't from here or you are an idiot. why are you a have not? look at your life choices! do you work harder? are you smarter?probably not! tell me why you can't be better! what keeps you down? why can't you do what other people do ALL THE TIME in this Country!

  • @yetitracker I've worked hard and own my own business. I pay about 30% in taxes while Mitt Romney because he makes his money thru investments pays less than half of what I pay. It's an OK system with plenty of room for improvement. "We are a nation of have's and soon to have's". Is this what you think? That if we just wait our turn we will be rich. Mitt Romney hasn't "worked" harder than me. I have more education than him, probably you too. Watch who you call idiot. Rubio a better target.

  • @dreyestud123 Its people like YOU that are the problem with this country! Instead of being so negative believe in the American way, where you CAN be born into poverty, and CAN become a CEO millionaire of some sort. Sorry if Obama disagrees. No need to listen to him!

  • We don't want to "take it from those who have and give it to those who have not" We want those who have to pay the same percentage of tax I do...their main objection is that if I pay $1,000 tax then that is all they should pay even though they earned 1,000 times what I earned. How is that F'IN fair???

  • Comment removed

  • I'd vote for him today - can't believe the group of "good ol' boy" candidates the Republicans are fielding again when they obviously have people of Marco's caliber waiting in the wings (thanks to the Tea Party movement).

  • Impressive.. Presidential potential in years to come.

  • Please run for president.

  • @TorontoLeafs77 He can't, Rubio is NOT a Natural Born Citizen. Besides, he has already violated his oath to defend and uphold the constitution by voting for the National Defense Authorization Act which allows for the arrest & detention of American Citizens without the right to an attorney, no right to a fair hearing, no due process

    RUBIO IS A TRAITOR

  • @Zapppo He was born in Miami. What most people don't realize, is we are at war. Not just with Afganistan but Iran too. Iran declared war on us a long time ago. Bad stuff happens in war.

  • @TorontoLeafs77 His parents were not citizens when he was born. He was Naturally born into a Cuban family with foreign heart-connections to foreign soil. His Natural yearnings for his parents home-land dilutes exclusive loyalty to the US. Only Congress has the power to declare war. Lt. Colonel Schaffer author of Dark Horse on Iran /watch?v=2QDIxhaEPN0 &

Senior CIA Adviser to the Bin Laden Unit Michael Scheuer /watch?v=2C29cWY58eg

Rubio has sold his soul to Aipac not US citizens

  • @Zapppo Rubio is an awsome American. Florida is proud to have a senator like Mark Rubio. You must be a treasonous Progressive Democrate to write such weasel juice.

  • @farahnet1 Not a libtard, Registered Republican. Live in FL.

Rubio is anti-constitution. Patriot Act & NDAA & ALMOST SOPA & wooing AIPAC is Treasonous.

Rubio signed onto SOPA & then back off under pressure from us Floridians but he didn't do it out of nobility or on his own merit.

He is More Of The Same. Like Bushbama. He lied to the Tea Party.

  • @Zapppo Im from Maryland and I have 2 ULTRA-Liberal Bozos for Senators. Believe me Id DIE if I had somebody like Rubio as a Senator! Quit whining he's a great man, you have NO idea what liberal is!

  • @Number1Trojan93 Are you cross-eyed? Did I describe anyone as Liberal? No, I didn't. So you would DIE if I had somebody like Rubio as a Senator. Voting for the "Lesser of Two Evils" is STILL VOTING FOR EVIL.

I'm voting for RON PAUL, the REAL Conservative, Tomorrow in Florida AND in the General Election. A vote AGAINST Ron Paul is a WIN for 0bama bc Gingrich & Santorum FAILED to get on the ballots in Virginia. That's a LOT of delegates LOST.

I will NOT throw away MY VOTE on EVIL.

  • What a load of crap he just voted for NDAA that allows the MILITARY to drag you out of your home and put you in prison for life and Obama signed it . 3 dems and 3 rep voted no. FASCISM has come to America

  • Romney is just not a likable guy, their is no way he will beat Obama .Romney care and Obama care are just too similar.I would be brash enough to say Marco Rubio is Young and full life,Likable with a great back ground Story,of coming from nothing to where he is now.He looks like he knows what he talking about,I would back this guy for president straight to the white House 2012.when this guy gives speeches, I get tears in my eyes

    Rubio for President 2012

  • @TheSexygroove The nonsense this guy talks about is no different from the crap the political right has been feeding people for years. You can find similar speeches and sentiments from Regan and Nixon. Governments like mine have become the most successful governments the world has even seen because they have learnt (through years of effort) where government money and power should go. This is why my country is thriving whilst yours is on the road to collapse.

  • I love this guy. He addresses an empty room once a week or so to setup his future. He's smart and knows exactly what he is doing to market himself. I admire that. Obama did the same. We could go from African American to Cuban American in 2016. As for the people wanting him as VP, he has said he is NOT going to do it. It's actually a smart idea condering the current GOP candidates.

  • @NvikIngsN *considering

  • @NvikIngsN Rand Paul announced today that he is RETURNING $500,000 of his Congressional Office Budget to the US Treasury to reduce the national debt. /watch?v=tfUIGm-McLk

How much is Marco returning? Zip? Zero? Nada?

Haves / Have Not HYPOCRITE Rubio is more of the same, not Tea Party at all

RON PAUL 2012 THE TRUE CONSERVATIVE

  • @Zapppo Ron Paul has authored 1 bill into law in 22 years in congress & no budgets proposed. Ron Paul is not qualified to be President. Marco still has time to prove himself. Ron Paul has proved he can complain & write books & vote against things in 22 years. Voting against things but no legislative accomplishments? Sounds like President downgrade.

  • @BlackRepublican2010 So you're saying Ron Paul is NOT AT ALL RESPONSIBLE for the collapse of this country! A Man Of Principle & Honor, very presidential in my book,

Ron Paul Predicted the Financial Collapse /watch?v=pI5ZD7g4CPg

Ron Paul's 2002 Predictions All Come True /watch?v=ifJG_oFFDK0

    WAKE UP!

  • Rubio will be President, albeit after he is Vice President.

Obama is no more that a puppet, with the arm of George Soros up his rear end. He is a socialist/Marxist and his dream is to destroy this country. He has already begun downsizing our military by over 200,000 service men. His next move will to change the balance of the Supreme Court, which will allow him to attempt to have the 2nd amendment challenged in attempts to outlaw our guns.

Obama is the worst President in the history of t

  • @800JBP You flipping idiot. The Military was and is downsizing just as the neocons wanted it to be. We don't need a HUGE military to police the World. Obama is just following the trend. The Supreme Court has been Conservative since I was born. They are the dumb fuckers who gave business super-paks and rights to undermine everything in DC. Now the Republicans are crying about super-paks, forgetting that they bashed the President when he told them to their face it's a corrupt process.

  • @800JBP Name one thing Obama has done to take away your 2nd amendment. The NRA has used scare tactics to morons who are stocking up on weapons thinking the big bad Government will close shop. The only thing I can see that has been done is ammo might cost more. I'm not sure as I haven't bought any in the last few years. Already have enough, because I don't have an assault rifle to go target shooting on weekends.

  • we so need him now, but he says he's not ready. I pray he's ready in 2016. God bless Marco!!!

  • I completely agree. Here's your convincing Republican candidate. If he continues to speak this truth so clearly and eloquently, he will surely become the President one day.

  • Rubio for President 2016

  • @NJROLLER02 You might have to put that on hold until 2020, when he's finished being Vice President. :)

  • Would this man please stand up and run for president - who cares (or still knows) what the various parties actually still stand for. Its individual accountability that will change the future.

  • Rubio/anybody 2012

  • The 2 people who dislike this video don't have a heart.

  • It will be Romney/Rubio 2012!

  • Listen. Think. Resolve. Vote.

    Thank You, Marco.

  • It's about time someone reminded us of what we used to be and what we should continue to be. I would back Rubio for President without any qualms!

  • Yes, this is the type of president we need!

  • you all need to get the fuck out of my country and take this elitist asshole with you.... People whip more and more out of the working class while taking more and more money to the rich and powerful.... There is only so much value in our money..... It is a finite thing..... your stupid, or an asshole if you buy this shit.

  • The most important reason the press is to keep government honest. Today the press takes sides. I do believe FOX is more honest than MNSBC, but MNSBC has it's place.

Why has giving information on bad actions become worst than the action? Would I like to see America just like me, yes, but I would accept all Americas with good morals regardless of their parents.

God bless America and all it's people.

  • I am of Welch, Roman, German, Polish, decent. I hope one day to vote for this great man for President. I pray, yes pray there are more men and women like this man willing to run for office. God bless America and it's people.

  • A Marco Rubio-Condolaeeza Rice Republican ticket= Obama SLAUGHTER!! Shame it isn't going to happen =(

  • @Number1Trojan93 That truly is a FANTASTIC ticket...but the masses?? in this country are totally ignorant and brain-

washed and no matter who, I am very pessimistic...this commie even has the press in

    his corner.

  • @idfsense True, but think about it. Obama has $1,000,000,000 to throw crap at the GOP candidate. But Rubio and Rice have no crap to have thrown at them!

  • Aside from "A Time for Choosing", I think this is the single best speech I have ever heard. This man WILL be President, when it is his time. Marco, find your time please.

  • @0331SGTGunner

    Amen. I concur and agree.

  • Superb dissertation on the American Dream - and NO Teleprompter - just a few handwritten notes.

  • This man should be President!!!! Brilliant!

  • Comment removed

  • Be careful Mr Rubio. Speaking this sort of fact will befuddle the average citizen. This makes way to much sense for people to buy it.

  • NOT!!! TRY REALITY.

  • Obama considers his presidency to be the 4th greatest in modern American history...

  • Please, Marco, run for President.

  • I agree. Maybe we can lift the embargo on Cuba, and they will get more oppurtunities to help themselves. Thanks Marco.

  • Senator Marco Rubio is setting a new level, a new standard, for Cuban-Americans. He is not a Cuban-American who came here as a refugee. He is a Cuban-American born here, as American as George Washington, Abraham Lincoln or Martin Luther King.

The seeds planted by Ronald Reagan in Miami have bared fruit. It is not that Senator Marco Rubio is as American as apple pie, it is that pastelito de guayaba is now as American as apple pie.

  • Very well said Senator!

  • Whether democrat or republican, you have to agree with the Senator's points.

  • He's right.

  • PLEASE Run in *2016* ... May God Bless, you !~

  • I am proud to be a Floridian!!! GO RUBIO!!!

  • A true Statesman... I don't think I've seen this kind of humbleness along with boldness from a congressman in my lifetime.
