This is a great geography lesson from Masood Ahmad about the terrain around Korphe and possibly traversable walking paths into Korphe. Albeit, one has to question the intent of EmberwildeProd for putting the video under a title "Did Greg Mortenson have Tea in Korphe?". There are probably plenty of people in Korphe who can be interviewed today and attest that Greg Mortenson had tea on more than one occasion in Korphe. Not sure why his account on how he got there is so important anyhow.
@Shoefly9441: this video was produced for Masood because he is part of an ongoing investigation into the fraud claims against Greg Mortenson. Yes, Greg had tea in Korphe, but not on the timeline that lays the foundation for "Three Cups of Tea," which is a crucial fact for the lawsuits filed against Greg and his publisher. Read Jon Krakauer's "Three Cups of Deceit" for more information here.
Mr. Mortenson has a number of serious credibility issues as do his friends/writers Kevin Fedarko and David Relin neither of whom have publicaly defended the Korphe story they both wrote about.
Thank you boss for showing us the reality, you should be director of Central Asia Institute because you are American as well as Pakistani citizen, know Gilgit baltistan more then natives. Didar Hunzai
It is truly unfortunate if Mortenson did indeed "fabricate" his story in order to sell some books. Hopefully Mortenson will confront these discrepancies and shed light to all the confusion.
too bad he lied. His credibility would probably decreases but still, he did good job on putting effort in making good charity works.
