Rescued Shiba Inu has seizure due to hypothyroidism

Thank you for your video! My family recently adopted an Australian Shepherd/Chocolate lab mix a week ago today. In the weeks time we've had her we believe she has had 2 seizures where her front legs get stiff and she doesn't shake or tremor but she is defiantly having something going on. Thanks for sharing your experience it helps to see what other dogs have went through to compare to our situation!

He's a dog, he's not human. I saved this dog's life when no one else would. He was schedule to be euthanized because of this condition. I took that chance and took him into my care. He's one of some 90 dogs I have fostered. What have YOU done to help save dogs' lives ? I shot this video originally to show my vet. Then decided other pet owners might learn from it. It took a long time, but he's now in a loving home and getting his meds everyday. I spent $500 on him, if you want to help ..

WHY THE FK WOULD YOU MAKE A VIDEO OF A PET HAVING A SEIZURE?! Shouldn't you be making it LESS stressful for him? You're A BAD PERSON. I hope someone videotapes your death and posts it on YouTube.

Hi, as in the other video of him having a seizure, I stated that he is taking Potassium Bromide, 800 mg in one pill a day. Cost about 44 cents a day if you order online. I used VetRxDirect but you need a prescription from a vet. In 7 months of being on Pot. Bromide, he did have 2 smaller seizures that lasted for 5 min. But before being on the med, 2 of his seizures lasted 20 min ! Now he has been adopted and doing great with another Shiba for company.

My shiba is having seizures just like this. He is not overweight so no thyroid problem. My vet said there was nothing I could do about seizures. I am going to show him this. Thank you for help.

Poor baby.I cnt imagine if one of my 3 shibas had a seizure.I wouldn't b abl to watch.I could barely watch thiz an I dnt even kno the dog
