ABC ores removed from worm holes would take a HUGE chunk out of earning ability. Unless you are in a WH that has a static link, which you then keep closing to get more sleeper sites, you really can't sustain yourself very well.
The T3s to run these sites are not cheap. Replacing the POSes that get popped because you can't make outposts, the carriers you need to try defend them ... then repeat when you move up a class.
~A~ really has no choice with the fall of IO which was protecting a whole flank of their's in Omist... And that had to be done with a spy from within becuse the russian's couldn't beat them with ships. But once Mom's get nerfed the DRF will fall. seeing they put all there eggs into the fact moms are so powerful now, they have next to no sub cap fleet to speak of. Just a butt load of Moms

Removing ABC's will effectively damage what we are doing in the wh in the first place. Removing ice from Hi Sec will make the price of fuel explode. Which would end our ability to operate. :(
I don't understand why CCP is planing to take a huge dump industrialists. I have a feeling that they don't really understand the player base. And why a very large number of players hangout in Hi sec. This game has the most harsh death penalty of any MMORPG that I have ever played. You can spend months working to get enough ISK to buy a good ship only to lose it all a short time later. The bottom line is a game should be fun to play. And EvE is a great game. I guess we'll see what happens.
@Daneoid81 I was not talking about my activities in the game. As I am in a class 3 wormhole we make a good amount of ISK. I was referencing the newer Hi Sec player. I remember as a newer player it took me a long while to collect around 300 million or so. My primary focus was a miner\Industrialist with little interest in PvP. Even though I was well aware that the game was heavy in PvP. if you cut incentive to industrialists they will simply move on. And CCP will be forced to seed the markt

When I was in High-sec, I just ran lvl 4 missions , a cheap raven used to make me a 60-odd mil a day, not sure if it still does but I don't see why not. But in the end until you are skilled enough you shouldn't really be flying 300mil ships anyways. Totally agree that there needs to be more incentive for industrialists, But at the same time solo-low-sec pvp is more or less dead, miners and escorts could bring that back maybe?

As a member of a pet alliance of -A- I kind of can comment on their "evacuation" as you said this is what AAA always do, unfortunately the mistake they've made this time is they made this push for more space, and in the process spread themselves too thin to protect it and not are screwed when someone has decided they want it back, they wasn't big enough to protect the space they took.

Personally, I think this might be more "incentive" to push those that don't want to worry about getting jumped all the time into low/null-sec. In other words, making more targets for the pirates. This is just plain awful. And quite frankly, I doubt I'll come back to EVE if this is done.
Taking ABCs out of W-space is BS what happened to "If it aint broke don't fix it?" if some carebear comes into w-space to mine they have just as much chance of being a KM than any other nul sec system they stumble into. They may not have to travel as far but no local and WH mechanics make up for that not to mention you can still go through a WH into K-nul and mine. I have always been a believer in making it possible to be self sufficient in W-space even if it is harder to do than in other areas.

Yay more reasons to laugh about quitting eve online. One more nerf aimed at driving players into null sec for high ends and ice. Eve is a great game with a lot of potential but so many of its features are half baked or poorly implemented that it detracts from the overall game.

Personally, I think this might be more "incentive" to push those that don't want to worry about getting jumped all the time into low/null-sec. In other words, making more targets for the pirates. This is just plain awful. And quite frankly, I doubt I'll come back to EVE if this is done.

Taking ABCs out of W-space is BS what happened to "If it aint broke don't fix it?" if some carebear comes into w-space to mine they have just as much chance of being a KM than any other nul sec system they stumble into. They may not have to travel as far but no local and WH mechanics make up for that not to mention you can still go through a WH into K-nul and mine. I have always been a believer in making it possible to be self sufficient in W-space even if it is harder to do than in other areas.

Taking away 0.0 local makes sense as where does it come from? In low sec concord has a presence, so it makes sense for it to be there.
I'm presuming it's concord anyway, since they seem to run most of these things ;)
