@habibisalsa Thank you! The ball was started by Stanford students from the Stanford in Austria Program. The waltz and polka that are performed as part of the opening ceremony are choreographed and selected by the choreographers each year. The songs are traditionally selected from the Strauss family. I've posted all of the videos I have from the last few years on my channel.
Sorry, we don't do the Mitternachts Quadrille at the ball. I've never seen it taught at Stanford.
Amazing that all the tradtional viennese ball traditions are mantained, including the fächer polka von Ziehrer vor the entrance procession!

@LordCoconot The Stanford Viennese Ball is based on the Vienna Opera Ball. They speak German in Austria, thus the German.
