i'm trying to get my enchanting up for my mage finding the soul gems is quite annoying but hopefulyy when i get to 100 in enchanting i can have the things needed to make armor that requires no magicka use for destruction and illusion. i do have the perk for bound weapons to take soulds when used against enemies though just in case i need to get souls for the empty ones.

those of you whom it may not work could be a result of the updates. i havent made the first update on this game. my roommate has and is unable to use a multiplying glitch that i am able to. that may be the reason this glitch wont work for you. all you have to do to fix this problem is go into your system harddrive and delete the updates you have for this game.

so far on the xbox 360. ive made 4 attempts at the glitch and it is successful. only thing that doent rplenish is the lockpicks but you can buy those from the caravan with the free gold in chest. gold and soul gems do reappear in chest.

EDIT: I seemed to have worked my way around the glitch I was experiencing. First of all, this does NOT work unless you speak to Ahkari while in Dawnstar. You cannot, for example, go to White Run and speak to him, then return. Now, my workaround for the glitch.. I decided to enter his tent, figuring nobody was there, then I heard his voice. Turns out he IS there, just invisible? So, I guess I hope this helps if anybody runs into the same glitch I did :)

Well that sucks.. Ahkari's camp will appear, but nobody is in it. Tried moving to another town to see if he would appear there. Again, camp but no Ahkari. I swear.. I want to love this game, but so many glitches make it unplayable (not this, but so far every character I've leveled up to 30+ has encountered several quest chains that cannot be completed due to glitches). I'm thinking about selling the game and waiting a few years for Game of the Year edition to release :P Good tutorial though!

hey guys thumbs this up because it is a faster way! Do everything he did, except dont wait for the khajiits to re-stock their items, just save, then kill the SELLER(Ahkari), then load your saved game. She will have re-stocked!

1. the invisble chest will always stay there

2. even if u take the gold and any other items, it still has gold in their stock, i know be cause i have tried it and the khajit were there

3. you can still get it even if the khajit aren't there

4 if u want to take all the items get a companion and make him/her get all the things.

Just looked this up for my boyfriend the traders were there when we got there he's working on his third time waiting 48 hours i had him try selling stuff to her then seeing if it was in the chest it was and works everytime you get the gold from her and your stuff back from chest... If you sell the dragon bones to the trader they show up in the chest for you. It seems like the guy's inventory is the chest. I'm gonna try to buy everything off him and see if all his Coins show up in the chest.

@OGFreeAgent Are you Sure you mean patched, that means that everyone on the same platform as you can no longer do the glitch, have you tried talking to the kajit, also sometimes they don't set up camp, try walking up the path the caravan guards came from and see if the trader is caught on a rock or fighting a dragon or something (Aura whisper helps here)

@G0DatWork I'm not sure why that could be, they are essential characters unless you kill them, is it possible you caught them in a blast or with a stray arrow at some point, also if you have the miscellaneous quests "retrieve the moon amulet" you can track them as one of the guards is who you are meant to return it to.
