People who, in their own minds, had good intentions took the Word of God out of context and used it as justification for their horrible deeds. It wasn't that God said, "Go kill all who oppose this religion." It was men who decided to do what they wanted. If you spent 5 minutes with a Bible in your hands you would know that God is LOVE. He does NOT condone hate or violence, but grace, mercy, and LOVE.

God does not accept things that are unholy or unrighteous. Ok the reason I want 2 know wat u believe is b/c I have a natural curiousness 4 understanding people. Ok God created the Earth & humans. He loves us all dearly. He loves us so much that he sent Jesus Christ, his son, 2 die in place of our sins, so when we die, God wont c our sins, He'll c the Holly Spirit & let us into Heaven. The reason they teach how to witness is because the ways it's been done in the past haven't always been effective. There are people who don't believe there is any "good news". You have to try different technics with different people.
