i didst really figure it out. eventually i got new wireless internet from verizon..and it just worked. i had to put the numbers from the back of the router into my ipod.

im guessing where ever your getting your internet from, it might say you have a great signal but it's really not connected..the problem was the router i was using

use your modem of your computer to get a connection and password, the password is on the modem of your compter, the modem is the thing that tells you wether or not your internet is on

go to settings >>>general >>> reset

reset network settings

.turn on and off

enter your password CORRECTLY in settings again

hi guys I have had this problem myself here is how I fixed it. If you are running both a modem and router seperately pull the power from both the router and modem but make sure modem is turned off 1st then plug router back into power letting it reset once resetplug the modem back into power also letting it reset completely once reset turn modem back on and your set. Hope this works.

First thing to do is to make a back up file of all ur apps in iTunes. Then restore ur iPod in iTunes. When it's done restoring, sync ur back up file to ur iPod so that u still have all ur apps and song.

first go to settings, general, then rest, reset network settings, and press reset network settings. press the on/off button and the home button at the same time. then waitfor 1 minute, then turn it back on and then go to safari then a thingpops up and asks you for the password well just look for it around your router . the password is at least 10 digits long. dats all
