That was great man. I just started training with rings and was wondering if you had any suggestions for chest exercises aside from ring push ups. And the same for back aside from pull ups and body rows.
dude u r the man. im going to put some rings up in my house from the ceiling. right now i just be working out on my rock climbing finger board and planc drills. rings is probably the best work out equipment ever invented by farrrrr.
That was awesome. Do you just train at home. I've begun gymnastic type conditioning with the help of coach christopher sommer's book "building the gymnastic body" but my i'm looking for a good place to train. I've got rings and a pull up bar and some push up bars a.k.a. ghetto parelletes. But no parallel bars or solid horizontal bar. Any tips?
@ConnorRunsFree The rings and parelletes are the only things you really need, but just get creative and look around town for what you could use as parallel bars or a high bar.
@angelchao1 that's really impressive man,I wanted to know the strenght required for these skills so please just tell me your record of push ups, pull ups(full elbow distension) and something about abs..thanks and great job
@kojiyamadagifu1 Max rep records for relatively easy things like standard push ups and pull ups aren't the greatest indicator for being able to do these higher strength and control exercises, but my old records are about 70 full range push ups and 27 pull ups without momentum. A better way to do these skills would be to move onto the next progression once you can do 5 good reps or whatever with a given exercise
@angelchao1 Man very impresive i dont wanna bodybuild no more i wanna train like you doing only isametric exercises i wanna be able to carry my body more.
I just watched this with my 9 year old son, both impressed, hes traing level 5 and some 6, he can do about 75% of that but still needs to refine his skills... He has some stuff uploaded too
@ripped008 I can only do about 75% of what your son can do too! I'm sure in a couple of years he'll be a full fledged gymnast and kick my butt at any of this!
@angelchao1 hi man,I'm training for back lever but as u know it's not strenght the only thing required. In fact I can pull myself up but when I try to skin the cat I feel a lot of tension to my tendoms and I'm forced to stop..I know tendoms grow slowlier than muscles and I have to give time them to get strongerbut I'm stuck at this point...as u can do it what advise can you gimme as specific training for back lever ?
@kojiyamadagifu1 Definitely give your tendons some time to heal and grow stronger. You can also work on bicep centric things like the extreme ROM pushups or inverted row/curls to help out your back lever.
@angelchao1 What "level 5" and "75%" are you guys talking about? I want to get started training with rings, so if there are some books or videos that can help, or even a system with levels - it would be very nice.. any help or info is appriciated.
@jrk987 looks like he's just laying there so there';s added weight to the couch. It makes that exercise work, without somebody on the couch it would be too light and he might pull it out while lifting his legs.
Yo nice job on those rings ;) U r really strong wut is ur height?

You sure have a lot of strength. Keep training, I was impressed.
Wish I could have those rings, they are usefull to gain strenght.
It might be a stupid question, but how did you fix them ?
MathConditioning 4 months ago
@MathConditioning Do you mean fix them as in secure them to the ceiling? I used some bolts and a D ring for each strap.

Impressive..keep on keeping on my man!
