300 was inacurate but its still bad ass and is a great tribute to a brave king who told one of the biggest empires in the world to go fuck themselves. In real life Leonidas was told by the oracle that for victory a king must die but he went any way. And yes there where other greeks there but when they got betrayed the 300 and some greeks who wanted to, stayed to cover the other greeks retreat and there for they died. So who cares if it was historacly inacurate its still an awesome movie.

Only 2 spartans survived because they were sent away before the battle. 1 commited suicide, the other fought in persia.
They are 2 different games, one is more individual, the other is like a general, M&B is a great game, don't get mad cause people don't play Rome Total war anymore, its like a 5+ year old game MOVE ON

@WolfytheWolf5667 Lol, RTW and Mount and Blade... I own both games, I love both dearly. Guess what also, Mount and Blade is not an American game, I believe the creators are from Turkey or something. And not to mention that RTW is not even near the same genre as M&B, But they are both great games, I have downloaded like 10 mods for M&B i think, it just never gets old with all of the mods that people make for it.

The fanboys lol. Specific numbers are unknown but what is known now, there were 300 Spartans, 10,000 in the full military and the largest greek state army.
There were 7000 at the battle and over 160 died.
By day 3, only 1000 held the last stand. 300 Spartans, 700 Thebes and im not sure if the Slaves stayed aswell but if they did, that would make 1900 instead of 1000.
Only 2 spartans survived because they were sent away before the battle. 1 commited suicide, the other fought in persia.

there were +1000 spartans and some other greek troops but they were losing but 300 of them refused to retreat.

Its a module not a mode, also you get it by downloading it, also if you want to use this mod, switch from native version of m&b to the name of the mod, you can see the mod switcher on the top of the game launcher were it says Native or the name of the mod

the recent movie 300, was based on a graphic novel by Frank Miller, in that respect it was spot on, it was never ment to be a historical documentation but rather the story of legend passed down as a spartan would have told it around the camp fire with all of the myths and legends included, so piss off, and remeber it was a MOVIE ment to entertain not educate

omg you fukin tard, try thinking before you respond, I know the Battle of Thermopylae was an actuall event in history, but the movie called 300, was not a documentary about that, it was the story of myth that surrounds that battle, Frank Miller made a graphic novel about this called 300... it was made into a movie called 300, I was simply saying that people should remember that when watching it, not try to compare it to history's findings.
