I search for this sound that accompanies almost every Lucky Dube Song. Sounds like an organ, but has this organ a special name or special settings?? can someone help me?
may God save his soul. there is something about this man that makes you love him, i love his songs even before i understood an english word. i been listening to him all day without knowing what he was talking about. it just feel so spiritual listening to this man. may his soul be in peace.
@FD25ful ..I do the same....I have never met Lucky, or listen to him live, but I feel He Is my brother....I love him and cry foe him...every time I hear him...and i am just a white girl...he is an angelic Soul - full of Love for all humanity....how can any one harm Lucky - he was like the symbol of Love...i hope on this Earth or in heaven we will meet lucky !!
I am Azamah Elvis Nji from Cameroon .From the day I heard this song still day my life has change .I will die for this song and want to say Lucky you are the greatest and your songs will be for ever listed still end times. God bless you brother Sali.
Whoever this song was sang for must have felt very sweet. A millionaire's daughter and a grave-digger's son living their dream which goes to say love is thicker than blood shows the height of creativeness. We have all eternity ahead of us and we'll see you some day Lucky. I love you and your songs
This song is so beautiful... I can't stop listening to it, Lucky Dube is the greatest........
"you were the millionaire's daughter
I was the GRAVEDIGGERS son
they told you to stay away from me
they told me to keep away from you"
"Love is Thicker Than Blood
Love Is Thicker Than Blood
Love is Thicker Than Blood"
So true.. and to all those who married because of family pressure and turned their backs on true love they day a thousand small deaths every day of their life!!!!
love is ticker than blood, lucky no one can take the memories of your concerts away from me, I'll never forget you, I listen to your music everyday. We have eternity when we meet in the next world. Love you Lucky R.I.P
i am a caribbean man and to me Lucky sang more relavant songs to everday life than Bob did(he sang more rasta hardcore stuff). Bob might have started but Lucky perfected and put a fullstop in it, he was the best
Well brother, these are two different prophets with two different messages for mankind, but same purpose to rescue and educate us all. They are all unique in their own ways. Respect for all.
nothing is wrong with comparing these 2 am just saying as a Jamaican it was expected of me to rate Bob marley more but as Torihope says '' just a matter of preference''. And Lucky Dube music touch my heart, body & soul more
Just a matter of preference. I loved Marley's music too--but Lucky touched something deep 'cause he sang so much of what he LIVED...not an easy life. I think it's like comparing two different types of flowers; both fragrant, both flowers, just different--but beautiful nonetheless.
THis man always knew how to touch subjects that the everyday man goes through. In a nutshell, that's what made/still makes him such in icon. Lucky Listen to this song for example....
Lucky dube is by far one of the biggest reggae legend. I will even put him over Bob Marley but people wouldn't agree but who cares what they think. Hus rising to fame wasn't easy. He is one of the artist that had a struggle to make a name for himself. Risked being shot, censored and other methods used to silence him but he kept going on. I will mis him dearly. long Live the Legend.
I am a Jamaican & i agree with you about Bob Marley i listen to Lucky every single day of my life since i started to get his records to buy. My internet friend in Africa ask me how come i love him more than Bob Marley i tell them his music touch my heart differently. He was & his beyond greatness & they did to him just what they did to Peter Tosh who Lucky got his inspiration from. Both killed aged 43 by the hands of murderers or assination with 3 gunshots. question coincidence or simply murder.
Biggest and best is about what's in our HEARTS,not what other people say. Lucky's music touched so many of all nationalities and races--his dream--to reach and touch all peoples. He succeeded and his death doesn't change that. Let's continue to love him and his beautiful music; let's try to love EACH OTHER. Peace.
love youuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!! RIP
