I'd love to be able to play at all! Its a lovely instrument. I can't find out who this accordionist is. It's a track called Pigalle from a compilation.

The title of the tune is 'Pigalle'. The tune is from a compilation of French Cafe Accordion Music by various artists. Pigalle is an area of Paris. The Moulin Rouge is in Pigalle. Pigalle is named after the sculptor Jean-Baptiste Pigalle. Artists Toulouse-Lautrec, Picasso, Vincent van Gogh once lived there. There is no English translation of Pigalle but because the area was also a 'red light district', in World War Two it was apparently nicknamed 'Pig Alley' by the Allied troops.
