    --Jason

  • Oh, wow! You sound like a professional. Please keep up the amazing effort. (And you seem to have a beautiful house as well!)

  • Hey Emma! I just started working on this piece and I'm just looking to find some recordings to listen too, and I just wanted to tell you thanks for uploading this video!! :) I'm now inspired to play this piece the best I can! Keep up the AMAZING work! :)

  • Hi, Emma, wow you are truly amazing. I just love your tone and how you are so in to the music! :) I have a few questions that I hope you can answer, How do you tougue so fast and make each of your notes so clear, and also how do you play the high notes so beautifully and the low notes so rich? thank youuu, and I hope you'll get better and better

  • @5teeheehee Hi, Thanks!!! I think I answered all these questions for you on the Andantino video. So I'll just thank you again!!!

    --Emma

  • @GeoRockMin hey, thank you! I really like your tips and I'll definitely try them. I know I've already said how awesome you are at playing the flute, but I just got to say it again :), cause not everyone has such amazing gift of talent like you do. you should truly be proud of yourself! Thanks again

  • Dear Emma , the sound is verry good !!!! The repertoire is more dificult , and is normally , maibe to lose energy . But for me , is perfect ! Love , Corina !

    Kissis for your teacher !

  • Your sound is much better than two years ago!

  • @BSA2417666 Hi, Thanks!!! Yah, I just try to get better every day!!! Hopefully I'll be even better 2 years from now!!! Thanks for watching!!!

    --Emma

  • Hey Emma, long time no speaky. :D I need some tips from you. This was my first year playing the flute and I did get better along the way, but I still have a problem with something. I can never hold my notes out for a long times. I can only hold about one whola note and then I don't have any more air. What do you do when you have to play really long slurs?

  • @buckweed226 Hi, Great question!!! It takes time and you have to work on it every day. Like take a scale and try to play the whole thing up and down in one breath. Then try to play it twice in one breath. It will take a few weeks if you practice every day. Or take a note and see how long you can hold it. Keep track of the time and try to add a few seconds every day. You can do it, but it takes time. Let me know how it goes!!!

    --Emma

  • Woww, this is amazing! Were you forced to practice or something?? You're only 9 years old! This is fantastic!!

  • Amazing! Bravo for such a mature sound and musical interpretation! With whom do you study?

  • When you play do you take out the head out a bit or you just stick the head to the body completely?

    --Haelin:)

  • Hi Haelin, There's a spot where I like the sound the best. But then sometimes I have to adjust a bit for the piano or orchestra.

    --Emma

  • I love this song and it seemed so easy because you played it!

How did your mum keep the camera still??

    Haelin:):)

  • Umm.. i just wanted to ask for your opinion on 2 flutes. If you had to compare them, which flute would you prefer ? A Powell Signature flute, or a Parmenon Ovatio flute ?

  • Hi, I never heard of Parmenon so I have no idea about that. But I love my Powell flute. No matter what ideas I get I can always find the sound in my headjoint. Powell is perfect for me. Just make sure you try out the flutes you're thinking about. Everyone is different and like different sounds. Let me know what you end up getting.

    --Emma

  • Hey!

  • And your accompanist helps your production emensly with her piano skills, Emma. Your

interpretations are really all feeling and this

will propel you into prominence in your mastery.

Like, what is left for you to learn?

  • Yes, Ms. Lee is an awesome pianist!!! And super nice too!!! This was my first time playing the Burton Sonatina for an audience and I knew I could really just think about the music and not worry about us keeping together. I love working with Ms. Lee!!!

  • Thanks!!! NFA was so cool. It was like a flute universe!!! --Emma

  • What is the highest note you can play??? This was amazing.

  • Thanks!!! D4 is the highest I can play in tune. I'm working on F4 for another piece but it's really hard! Carol played F4 on the Hora Staccato!!! --Emma :) :)

  • I've never heard this piece before now. Goodness... the business Flute World gets thanks to me listening to Emma on YouTube. LOL.

  • Hi Amy, Mom here. The backstory is amazing too. It's the only piece the guy ever published. Wrote it in middle age . Took the flute world by storm. Then he retired to Florida!

  • the attacks / toungeing on the higher notes kinda hurt my ears... but it may just have been the microphone you used. Otherwise, bueatiful.

  • First time I hear this piece, very nice, excellent!!!

  • Brava, Brava !
