When a film "extra" speaks, they get paid more and are eligible to join the Screen Actors Guild. So some extras try their best to speak, while the director tries his best to keep them quiet. These two extras are genuinely surprised because Jim Carrey improvised that unscripted line. One is frozen, the other just nods. Both do a great job not breaking their silence, and the director was able to keep this funny unscripted line in the movie. So thank the Big Gulp extras for staying quiet.

@bfcricky it's funny because it shows how awkward and stupid he is: going up to the type of people you should normally avoid (thugs just hangin) and commenting on something random. what's also funny is the way he pulls it off "whoa....". i'm sure it was improvised.
