This is great. I lived in Salamanca in 2000 and traveled all over Spain and found guys like this in every city. It was amazing all the talent I saw. The best was watching an impromptu session start when a group of people gathered around a guitar player like this, all clapping their hands with the rhythym and singing, or just improvising. It was amazing.

I think that the sound should be attributed to the recording. Most smaller microphones (such as those found on small digital cameras and camcorders) can not pick up the deeper tones of a guitar.

jesse cook a mediocre guitarist from canada, mentioned that spain produces virtuoso guitarists like canada produces hockey players, there are many amazing flamenco guitarists in spain, but why they are not famous? because music industry today doesnt sign talented musicians. out of all amazing flamenco guitarists the only one who made it internationally is paco de lucia, and even he was probably lucky since he collaborated with jazz guitarists and evolved flamenco guitar.
