front grille of the lotus looks like its been dented lol, otherwise that would of been a awesome model. mini looks quality but the head rests look like there floating in mid air. how long you spent modelling the cars on average?

shading is not my strong point :)

anyway, for the lotus i used DGS material from mental ray, the other cars i usually put a simple blinn

it also depends on your lighting and general scene setup

è in effetti l'auto di cui anch'io sono tuttora più orgoglioso, il modellino BBurago, color crema, sta sopra la mia libreria da quasi due decenni...

hmm, I understand. I have a p4 with 1.7 ghz and 1 gig of ram. even thats slow these days. My first pc was a 486 machine. Don't worry, man. us "not son of rich man" type of guys get things late, but it feels great when we become heroes without the super powers. get it?

awsome just awsome. I would like to advise you to do some 360 renders of each car using final gather and global illumination with a background environment. I mean , even if it takes a while, do it. Your demo reel will jump to a much higher level because us viewers will jump in joy when we see them in that type of renders. Again, great works. Keep it up, my man! Five stars from me!
