  • You actually just screwed up how to play 0:41 you can't move it from that space to that space because well you can't so...

  • @virginiatechfanx No he didn't. He explained it perfectly.

  • this guy has a bad opening opening into that corner. this guy is playing against himself and did a double jump on himself... he didnt see it coming thats the worst part about it hahaha.

  • wat is up with all of the hateing on you tbe and in the world / keep up the good work expertvillage

  • you got confused at the end. you fouled people who don't know how to play.

  • There may be variations, but in the "official" rules, is it ok to jump your own checkers? I know people that play this way, and they don't remove their own checkers, its just a way to have more freedom to move. I had never heard of this.

Most instructions I have seen don't mention this. The only thing it said in the instructions is that all jumped checkers must be removed from the board, which would mean that you would have to remove your own checkers, which would be a big disadvantage.

  • are you crazy? It would be wise if you learn all the rules and a little about how to play before making this video. Watch some by checkercycle, He has a good understanding of this great game,

  • @2:50 white piece has to take the black one and he forgot the rules, like for example, if u have 2 kings 1 piece then there is 14 turns then the game is draw and so on..

  • He doesn't seem very confident about what he's saying...

  • @Zaphenath4 Seemed confident to me. Are you a native English speaker?

  • This whole "being forced to jump" thing is really annoying when you're first learning to play checkers and online checkers forces you to do that.

  • sorry very hard to follow

  • how come I learnt checkers diferent and the king not only can move backwards and forwards, but also can move all the spaces forward or backwards it wants.. have you ever heard about playing like that? It sounds complicated, but it makes you think way more and the game much more exciting..

  • @Sinkatze there are many variations which were developed over time. This is traditional checkers, but certainly a version where the king has more moving capability does exist.

  • Your captioning covers the board.

  • youre like a checker guru...WOWZERS you should go pro!

  • thanks! this really helped!

  • nice lesson but u missed some stuff (about 2 not really important stuff) like the double check or Kings can only move diagonally(for beginners)

  • just to clarify things, Kings can only move diagonally just like a regular piece, except that kings can move backward.

  • Hi! Thanks, I needed to learn. Great vid!

  • You just taught my kids (refreshed our memory) how to play the game. Thank you!

  • i used 2 play checkers alot but then we found our checkres and board an we couldnt remember how 2 play until now thanx.

  • i coundn't see the real thing for the subtitle!!!!!!!!

  • very good commentary.... learnt it very quickly... thanks a lot!!!
