That little Devil was being a biggest moron but im proud of Unico to convince him about friendship and kindness. And I was relieved that he was rescuing Unico for he accidendtly pushed him off the cliff.

I think the attitude of the gods is supposed to portray the attitudes of a lot of people - even those who have made great things for others can have a tendency to get "jealous" if someone else suddenly comes with an idea that wasn't theirs, or does things out of their control. Even if it's good things. (and mind you the gods have been portrayed as pretty petty and selfish in ancient mythology as well...)

this is kind of a switch. i mean the so called gods seem evil to want to get rid of a unicorn simply for making people happy. and the so called devil or demon seem honorable and kind for risking his life to save unico and for keeping his promise of returning the horn.
