How to Burn DVDs using DVD decrypter and DVD shrink

Didn't work for me, it is supposed to be done backwards to this tutorial.

1. insert dvd you are burning.

2. Use DVD decrypter

3. Insert blank DVD

4. Use DVD shrink

That worked for me, easy and simple.

My DVD decrypter never works with "computer to dvd", it only ever has "source" as the dvd drive and destination as the computer. I can't select something from the computer to burn to a dvd, only copy from a dvd to the computer.

I'm sure there's more than one way to skin a cat but this worked thank you for the help. I got an error in DVD Decrypter about an audio lock i just hit ignore and burned the disk any way it plays fine in my player with all the sound.

nice free way of doing it but nero dvd9 to dvd5 helps shrink the dvd to fit into a smaller dvd size all in one and helps you burn it.... thats is if u dont need to decrypt... good video tho :)

you have to back it up as an ISO image file on DVD Shrink so DVD Decrypter can burn it.

ive read that using dvdfab or clone dvd and then burning with nero, i have not used any of these though.

other way is applying dvd decrypter to create a iso, then apply dvd shrink and burning. if you trie one of this methodes please let me know.

I use DVD Fab to back up all my new release movies and of course older ones and seem to love the program, it's definetly worth what u pay for and you can donwload the newest versions everytime they come out without being charged again. I gotta say it was the best money I spent on any program.

@m16kidd Well thats because the newer dvds have tougher encryption, try using 'Dvd43' its freeware. That should remove copyright protection and you should be able to burn. If that doesnt work, I cant help you

IT'S EASIER TO DO IT THIS WAY AND IT DON'T COST ANYTHING...

1: First use the program: DVDfab6 to Copy the whole movie to the HARDDRIVE in a VIDEO-TS folder (set to "DVD9" for 100% Qaulity)

2: Then use the program: DVD-Shrink to Re-author and Copy the Movie ONLY on to the HARDDRIVE in a ISO. image.

3: Then use the program: DVD-Decrypter to BURN the ISO.image of the Movie to a 4.7 DVD-r disc.

from the internet you can Download and use DVD-Decrypter and DVD-Shrink for free.

hey, i had the same problem; either u have a huge scratch on the disk, or ur burning a brand new movie. More than likely it's new; they're now intentionally putting errors into the disks to fool dvd ripping software. try downloading dvd fab 5. it's free and i was able to get around the redundancy check erros. hope this helps!

About the Wall-E DVD, it's probably because it's a modern disney movie. Disney by far has the BEST anti-piracy mechanisms. Do a search for burning disney DVD's and you'll probably find something useful.

dvdShrink is a horrible solution to reducing DVD files. DVDShrink is a TRANSCODER not an ENCODER. Heres the analogy: Take a book and you have to ways to shrink it. Either you read it and try to think what the important parts are and see how it flows and re-summarize it in an intelligent way by looking at the finished product and simultaneously always comparing it, or CUTTING PAGES OUT EVERY 5TH PAGE...
