Hey Phillip; Can't thank you enough for posting your Granddad's music. Grandson of Jimmy Reed-that's so neat ! Jimmy's got a huge fan base spread from Alaska to Tazmania and all parts in between. Really appreciate your efforts to share with us. A little bit of Jimmy Reed goes a long long way !!
Hey Phillip... Drop me aline and I'll kick you the entire show of "Jimmy Reed Highway"on DVD. I love your Grand Father !!!! One of the great great blues voices!
@wgodproductions I am a HUGE fan of Jimmy Reed. I'm from Ft. Worth, TX. I've been told that he used to play a lot of gigs on Jacksboro, hwy back in the '50's...Another rumor is ---- that Delbert McClinton learned how to play harmonica from your grandpa.... Have you ever heard THAT one....? W'Dan
@wgodproductions man, your grand dads music is beyond words. his sound has inspired me like you couldnt imagine, and im just a white kid from Long Island! Do you have memories of him?
@wgodproductions I just got finished reading the bio on your grandad,"Big Boss Man"..I went to the flea market the next dauy and lucked into a couple nice vinyl records....thgis is the stuff. I think the Rolling Stones owe you guys some royalties! They do mention how much of an influence they are, but that rythm! It is intoxicating and I am using it to great effect as well. Hope you and the family are well, God Bless!.
Thanks for posting this video. Theinboil. I agree with you man, 100

@samesatan
Doesn't look like anyone ever answered your question; that's Omar Kent Dykes.
He sounds a lot like Howlin' Wolf.

@Stratomite Thanks alot. He is cerntanly awesome.

Love it. I don't agree with the critics on the voice or the way it is sang. It is more like Howlin wolf style, so what...still good. Thx for posting
