This was the greatest concert I've seen in my life. I was 18 at this Feb 1977 Kiss show at MSG. It was 75 minutes of non-stop electricity. Powerful stuff seeing Kiss in their prime 20 feet away from me.

In concert, they're not all that musically technically proficient, but I got a feeling that the point of a KISS concert in those days was the fact you were FUCKING THERE. This was my first concert ever. Our seats were behind the stage and couldn't see a thing but loved it anyway. They had a monitor so that we could watch but for some reason it displayed in reverse and was black and white. It looked like they were playing guitar left handed and Paul Stanlesy's star was on the wrong eye.
