Im a bush fan and I feel it was sortta fair it didn't say anything about all the leftys voting for iraq and all the actors are liberals but I read bushs book and it was similar but it was a slanted view now that I think about it and there will never be a bad movie bout. Obama cuz nobody has the balls. Obama has done to distroy this coutry in 3 years then bush did in eight. And obama made a million mistakes on tv but the mainstream media wont show that.

While the movie could have portrayed him worse and I applaud for showing he had a bad administration and he just wanted to do some good I think the way they made him speak in the movie was unrealistic... and the fights with his dad were out there...

You can't blame the guy. He's trying to achieve a legacy and I guess if you watched the movie, he had good intentions, it was the failure of his cabinet that hit him hard. Wrong Intel. Remember a president isn't a president without his or her cabinet. It's not how the job works. I'm not pro-bush, in fact is was anti-bush but really can't blame him for all the mistakes.

While this film was certainly not a love letter to W., it wasn't all chalked full of negativity either. This movie is more or less a hollywood portrayal of a man who has been the leader of a nation during a very difficult period in history. Some of his decisions were in fact sound and wise, while others remain questionable to this day. However, unlike some who detest W., I respect Bush's ability to make decisions that he knew might cost him popularity.

Not a really good movie. It was very poorly put together. Very poor details. Acting was affected. Oliver Stone can do better than this. Bets bet make amovei about Clinton getting blow jobs. Next up get Kennedy and his mob connections///on and on.

Stone could have been more in depth. He was pissed and it came through in the movie.

Well, I went to see this movie the first night that it actually came out. I am definitely not a big fan of Bush at all...but I was actually expecting it to depict Bush as a worse human being than it actually did. At the end of the movie I actually kind of felt sorry for him.

I believe the true antagonist of this movie is actually Bush Sr.

i believe the end meant that while george w. bush wanted so desperately to be a hero and save the day (catch the fly ball), he never got the chance because he was so far off base, he couldn't even find the ball - it wasn't there. Sad stuff...

If you watch the movie while Bush is still in office, I think you'll appreciate it. If you wait three years, I think it will bore you to tears. I saw it last night, and I want to see it again. I had no problem identifying the major political players, I noticed many of the younger movie goers had trouble figuring out what role C. Powell or C. Rice had played, and Rumsfeld and VP Chenyey and their influence were completely underplayed. Overall very disappointing movie. Neither entertaining, critical or educational. Just sad and a waste of money.

Save your money, the movie was long and boring. Took my 13 year old and her friend. All of us are anti bush and hoped for a comedy style movie after seeing ads on Tv. It wasn't that at all. Bush wasn't portraited in a positive light, but it seemed more like he wanted to live up to the older bush's standards so badly, he just couldn't. The ending almost made me feel bad for Bush, but I got over it quickly :-). For me who has lived through the Bush, Clinton, Bush years as an adult, (t.b. contin.)

Ok I'm back and I saw W yesterday! That movie was so long and had a lot of slow parts. Tha editing was weird too because most of tha flashbacks were at tha beginning instead of being spread out through tha movie. When I left tha theater I was just kinda speechless. It wasn't really funny like I thought it would be, but looking back at it I really like that movie! It just took a little while to let it sink in. What was with tha ending though? It must have been some metaphor but I didn't get it.

In the movie he would catch the ball people were cheering and at the end he couldnt catch the ball and nobody was cheering like the end of his presidency... People loved him and it slowly went away with the end of his presidency being almost everyone hated him... thats what the ending met...

i loved this movie...i absolutely disliked bush before but now i kinda feel bad for him b/c alot of the time his staff wasn't being honest with him or some other outside factor just kinda screwed him over without it being his fault...beside judging by the movie he didn't really want any par in politics anyway at first and he just did it b/c his dad was kinda a dick to him and constantly saying he was dissapointed in him and he was an embarassment etc.
