Does anyone have access to the original Seasons 2-4 theme song (NOT the Cowsills version), with the single screaming firework exploding (visually only) after "Looove, love" and then the short skit, followed by the main theme, which, after the "LAS" logo, was followed by "Tonight Starring"? ("Starring" was shoved in there for the daytime reruns.) Would really love to see this restored version.

I'm looking for "Love and the Librarian" where a plain bespectacled librarian has a date with a sailor (yes, I was in the Navy), and she turns into a raving beauty when she takes off her glasses and her heavy clothes (nothing racy, of course). If anyone knows if this is out on video, I'd love to know!

@someguy23475 You're right. They had Marianne McAndrew (who???), Mary Ann Mobley, Ann Rutherford and Ann Sothern. Plus, Hamilton Camp and Rosemary De Camp, who aren't related, but whose last names were similar.

If you want to see the rest of the series released on DVD, please enter "Love American Style Petition" into google so you can visit the petition site & add your name!
If enough people do this, perhaps CBS/Paramount will listen and issue the remaining seasons (uncut & with all original music, as with Season 1). ;-)

Love the song so very much and the show that was on Friday nights. I watched it between the ages of 6-9 in the 70's. I am 45 now. Thanks for the wonderful music and memories this song brings back to me and to to others.
