Hello, I've been suffering something similar, also in the day time but mostly at night. Originally they were associated by involuntary wailing noises, so I think they may be to do with unresolved grief or trauma. I've been researching Peter Levine's theories of trauma (book: "Waking the Tiger")
However, I also suffer from Tourette's syndrome, so I do not know if it is related in some way to that. My tremors are not a similar sensation to my tics though.
Did Jim ever get a diagnosis? I experience a similar thing every night from shortly after I start to relax at night until just after I get up in the morning. It's mostly my torso, head and arms, but can be any part of my body. Thanks, and best wishes for good health!
I have a tremor in my left hand and left foot. I have been searching for a diagnosis for 8 months.I see movement disorder doctors at pittsburgh Childrens hospital.
The reason im searching videos for night tremors is that i would get them too. usually under high stress and when i was using lexapro. I would go to bed stressed up almost having panic attacks due to anxiety. I would sweat through out the night and my arms and legs would shake uncontrollably like the video. I would have to get up and walk them off or go sit and calm down. Eventually after the stress was gone and my body got used to the medicine did my tremors go away. i wish you the best.
I think I had something like that last night, i'm 21 years old. I read up on it, and it said children from the ages 2 to 6 are prone to get it. It'd be pretty funny if he was under a blanket doing that............ ................or not.
